Went to Barney's last week to try out this new casual restaurant, and everything was great except for the pork Schnitzel. It was over salted and poor quality pork, so we had to go to MJ's to get it done right. Everything else we ordered was great so I guess it was a off night for 1 dish. We will give it another try.

Good Food Pleasant Environment

This is a locally owned, recently opened (5 months) restaurant across the street a bit before Linda's Pancakes & Bingos. What a wonderful dining experience having "all you can eat" ribs that just fell off the bone while watching a super underwater spectacular screensaver on a Hi Def TV ! Good food with good prices.......you can't pass it up.

New spot - great food!

Recently opened in Noord, Barney's has a little Flintrock character on their menu and in decor - kids will love it and the adults will appreciate good food and prompt attentive service.
Being a big BBQ fan, I just had to try the ribs. Generally I have been disappointed with most "non-bbq stand" ribs as they are either parboiled or cooked too quickly. I would bet that Barney's uses a dry rub,, and then glazes the ribs with our choice of sauces just before service. The result was a fall-off-the-bone slab of ribs with an excellent BBQ sauce. I asked for and got a sample of their hot BBQ sauce - and even though I have a taste for heat, it was just a shade too hot for me. My wife had the garlic shrimp and stir fry vegetables, and I thought she might pick up her plate and lick it clean. It was that good!

Full bar, friendly staff that really moves.

love what you are doing to the place very nice and now you can eat nice and quiet without the wind.
the food was again great i love it this time it was snails very good.
main course the tuna very great.
we will definitely come back.

Prices very resonable

Had beef skewer with peanut sauce and my wife had a build your own cheeseburger. Meals were very very good. Well worth the money. Staff was excellent. Both meals were around $10 which is unheard of in Aruba. We will be back.

Delicious

When in Aruba you must try Barney's. The menu is varied and you can't help but find something delicious to try. Their bbq ribs fall off the bone and the Skirt Steak melts in your mouth. It's one of the newer restaurants in the Palm Beach/Noord area. The staff is friendly and the ambiance is great here. Prices are reasonable and they offer specials each night! Again, you must try! They are closed on Mondays.

what a great place to by nice restaurant and nice people.
this is the place where you can go and eat for a good price and for a nice night out.
we had a great starter you have to try it (shrimps) main corse meat. the meat was very good and tasty and on your plate the fresh vegetables this is what it must be by any restaurant.
after that we went to the bar and enjoy the rest of the evening.

Heerlijk vandaag tomatensoep met Kapucijners schotel gegeten! Wat een super tent is het toch! En dan die gezelligheid en super bediening! En die chef kok is geweldig! kom gauw weer een keertje langs!

My experience at Barney's was far above my expectations. The ambiance was great, warm and friendly. The food was surprisingly good considering the prices!
The couple who runs the place are helpful, friendly as well as professional.
Absolute a worthy addition to all other places on the island.
My recommendation: Try it yourself and let yourself be surprised!

a friendly restaurant with nice service. The bar and restaurant welkoms everybody. The food is good, the winelist gives everybody a chance to find something to its personal taste.
Definitely a restaurant you will have to visit while staying in Aruba.
Next time we are in Aruba we will come back again, that's a promiss.

Last week we went again to Barney's.
We tried something different and again it was great.The portions where very big,and the prices are very reasonable(much better then on other place's on the island)

after a recommendation from friends of ours we went to Barney's and it was worth the trip!! The place is young but allready you feel at home!! We had the delicious ribs and schnitzel which was cooked perfect!! Great attentive service so we will be back!!

We tried Barney's on "Schnitzel night" and had a fabulous evening!!! In addition to the company, the food and service were wonderful! Great owners and staff - we will return! Thanks Scott & Leslie for introducing us to Barney's, and we have already been telling others to go here.

We ate twice at Barney's and really enjoyed it each time. The young couple who own it are friendly and attentive. It is inland from Wendy's right between Sole Mare and Kong Fui.

The first time we had the special which was Seafood Pasta and only $10 and onion soup which was $5. They were both very tastey. One person had fish soup and grouper and thought it was delicious.

When we returned we had to try the $9.50 burgers. There is a little clipboard on the table for you to choose what meat (beef, veggie, etc), what sauce (they recommend BBQ), what cheese, and which 4 toppings (bacon, tomatoes, onions, etc. up to 4 - you can get more for a fee). This burger is so tall they skewer it to keep it from falling over. It comes with fries and salad and cold slaw - I couldn't eat it all even though I wanted to it was so good.

The special the second time was a beef tips strouganoff (I have no idea how to spell that!) for $22. None of us tried it but it looked great when another table ordered it.

My husband who is a diver really enjoyed the underwater video playing on the large-screen hi-def tv. I think there are plans in the works for a kid's playroom, too.

Don't miss trying this new place - a delicious, reasonable meal awaits you.

A group of seven of us ate here on Valentines Day. Two of us had the special,two had grouper, one had a seafood medley, one had steak tips and I had a pork skewer. There was a mix-up with my meal and it did not come out with the rest of the food. However, the staff corrected the error immediately and removed my meal from the check. With that being said, all of the meals were fantastic. We will make sure we come back here next trip.

Dined for a second time at Barney's tonight, and that alone should indicate how pleased we are with this new restaurant in Aruba. As visitor's to this lovely island we have lots of dining options, but when you find one that you really like it's worth visiting again! Great food, our steaks tonight were tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The staff and owners are friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere casual and comfortable, add the reasonable prices and you have wonderful dining experience. We will be back.

Barney's might have some of the most unique and best food in Aruba. No one we talked to had even heard of it, but I'm so glad we found it. Outstanding new restaurant on the island and great prices as well.

Absolutely wonderful, Aruba's newest restaurant. The food is delicious, the atmosphere relaxed and home-like, and above all the lovely owners make this place a real treat to visit. They are really passionate about their work and do everything they can to make your night as wonderful as possible. You can add me to your regular customers!

Well, it's just more than going to a restaurant. The food is fabulous and the choice is more than fine. But because of the excellent service by the staff, the fun at the bar with the bartender, the pretty atmosphere and the airco cooled space it's a complete night out. You're on vacation? You have to take a bite at Barney's!!

Last Tuesday we experienced a very pleasant surprise. A few days ago at Palm Beach (Noord - Aruba) Barney's Bar & Restaurant opened.
With our guests we have gone there. The decoration of the business is simple, easy and therefore very relaxed. A cozy bar and a quiet atmosphere is your share.
The menu promised a wide variety of dishes at very reasonable prices.
But perhaps more important is that this menu indicated that the restaurant is clearly different than most restaurants in Aruba. A mix of European and American influences to create the variety of dishes served at Barney's.
As an appetizer we started with the tomato soup and onion soup. Soups with a great (different) taste and well prepared. Not too much cheese on the onion soup which makes it often �heavy stuff�. The "Stones in a bowl"
(mushrooms, leeks, etc. in a delicious sauce) is really of a kind that it deserves recommendation.
We also had the schnitzel (German size), breaded and fried very well and a very special flavor of herbs and spices. The identity of the cook was clearly to be recognised. But the skewers of tenderloin and shrimp were absolutely delicious as well. Very fine (various) sauces were served with the main course accompanied by crispy fries (our choice).
A selection of desserts and various coffees completed our dinner.
So Barney's Bar & Restaurant is very surprising and enjoyable with a very pleasant price / quality performance ratio. An absolute must.
