Coming from England we have a range of establishments but I doubt if any come up to the standard of Blossoms, and they maintain this level night after night. The staff are very polished and the service is a delight.I eat in all three sections that they offer over the period of a week and it was great, worth every penny. They do a lobster dish which just melts in your mouth.
It is not cheap BUT you do get what you pay for, howmany places can claim that. If you like good service and great food you MUST visit at least once.

We thought the food here was just ok. We ate on the Japanese side. Our chef was entertaining, but the food was just "ok" in our opinion.

My husband and I had a craving for sushi during our trip to Aruba and we weren't let down here. We ordered their "sushi pizza" since the Manager had mentioned that it was their specialty and he was right! It was fantastic! Their menu includes most of what you expect at a sushi bar. The only thing we missed was the ginger dressing on our salads. Blossoms serves something more like thousand island to dress their salad.

Blossoms is basically three restaurants in one. There is a sushi bar, a Chinese side to the restaurant, and the Japanese side where the chef prepares your food on the cooking surface in front of you. The entire restaurant is very elegant, the wait staff is superb, and the food is good.

On the Japenese side the chef performs a "show" while cooking ala Benihana's. It is very entertaining and he also involves the guests to some degree. The restaurant, even though very elegant, is moderately priced. They have an early bird special for $16.00 that can't be beaten.

I am a great fan of Japanese and authentic Chinese food.

Having had my share of both cuisines, I can safely say that I can well distinguish between the bad, the good and the great.

And Blossoms is great.

Aruba may be an unlikely place to enjoy good Asiatic food, but Blossoms definitely has it.

I was fortunate to be invited to the official opening of the restaurant and found myself surrounded by the Aruban establishment. They seemed equally pleased about the island's latest culinary addition.

For starters I had the sushi, which was so fresh it seemed to have voluntarilly swam into the kitchen just moments before.

I then went on to the Peking Duck, which was terrifically roasted, with a crispy skin and succulent meat inside.

The moment that my mind said "Go on" and my stomach said "No!" had arrived. Letting my mind have the upper hand, I dug into a delicious ice cream desert and only then did I surrender to my overstretched stomach.
