Good more affordabled option than Guanni's with much friendlier service. Very good salads decent pizza for Aruba & Shrimp and Pasta dishes were excellent. Manager very friendly and helpful. We will be back.
If you want to eat real italian food...this is not your place.
we went there with out a reservation on 11/13/2011. Food was excellent although the menue is not huge, what is there is well prepaired. We will return again next time.
We were in Aruba for 2 weeks in October 2011, and visted this restaurant 3 times. Excellent price, service, food. Best Sangria I ever had. Highly recommend ...The owners name is Evert .. Tell him how much you enjoy his restaurant .
Tues 09/20 Da Vincis
I had called for reservations to Wacky Wahoos and earliest I could get was at 8:30. DW thought that was too late so we cancelled and made another reservation to Wackys for the following night. Since we both enjoyed our meals at DaVincis on Sunday, we decided on that for tonight. We ordered a Margerita pizza as appetizer and for dinner DW had the Gamberoni della Casa (grilled jumbo shrimp marinated in garlic olive oil with parsley) and I had Spaghetti a la Putanesca as I was still in the mood for pasta. We had our usual cocktails (Margerita and vodka martini) and a bottle of a Nero dAvola. Food, beverages, and service was excellent.
Sun 09/18 - Da Vinci's
We were thinking of trying this place when we went to Rembrandt's on 09/14. Da Vinci's is located across from Rembrandt's in the South Beach Centre and we had heard that it's owned by the same folks that own Rembrandt's. I've been disappointed and down on Italian restaurants in Aruba, but since it was owned by the folks that run Rembrandt's (which we like) thought it was worth a try. They have a large variety of pasta dishes you can select the type of pasta from Spaghetti, Fettucine, Penne, and Cheese Tortellini to go with any of their sauces. DW had Penne with shrimp (Gamberoni del Chef) and I had Spaghetti Matriciana. We had our usual drinks (Margerita for DW & a Vodka martini for me). We had a bottle of Malbec with the meal. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Service was excellent. Only negative was that we first sat at one of the outside tables & were getting eaten alive by mosquitos as there was not much of a breeze this evening. We also noticed that people sitting outdoors at Rembrandt's were having the same problem. So, we asked to be moved indoors - problem solved. We would definitely return.
