Great food and service!

This was the first resturant we visited on our vacation and actually went back to for a second dinner the same week! The early bird special that the offer is a great value and the food is delicious. The staff is very attentive and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I would recommend this resturant to anyone visiting Aruba...Loved it!

The Early Bird menu is outstanding. The Red Snapper was the best we have ever had - so we had it three times!!! Price of this menu is very reasonable. Staff and service are outstanding. Easy walking distance form any of the Hi-Rise Hotels. If you like fish - you can't go wrong.

With so many new and good eating places opening up in the past few years, we had not been to FISHES & MORE for the last two years. It had always been a good place to go to with fine food and reasonable service and their early bird special was an irresistable draw. Friends brought us back this year and we were happy they did. Despite some cosmetic changes to the facilities (which we did not particularly like) food here remains as good as it ever has been and that was good to see. When in doubt or in a pinch, FISHES & MORE is always ready to accommodate and they do so in a more than simply adequate manner, Their food is good and it is prepared in their own uniqe fashions which adds to the eating possibilities in ARUBA and it is something well worth partaking of. Spouse had a shrimp casserole that was incredibly good and the envy of all around us. Prices remain moderate and are about as good a deal as you can get in ARUBA. We continue to reccommend FISHES & MORE and will be putting it back on our list of places to more regularly dine at while in ARUBA.

Although I am rating this restaurant with a high score, its for the food not the service. We have eaten here 3 times in the last few weeks, twice alone and once with our family. We have always had full dinners with 1 or 2 bottles of wine. Last night we went to the restaurant and were not that hungry, my husband ordered the soup and I had a full salad , and then we shared the main course a spicy shrimp dish and oh yes a $40 bottle of wine. This dish is a must as the waiters will tell you, because the sauce is so good you will want extra bread just to clean up your plate.. This night the waitress didnt give us bread until we pretty much finished our meal and our sauce was cold even after asking her 2 or 3 times, she finally brought us 1 small bun each, when we asked for a second bun she told us that would be 1$ extra for EACH BUN...???. and then to top things off they charged us 4$ extra because we shared our main dinner. We spend 85$ there, they nickeled and dimed us for bread and sharing our food. That’s just bad management .....

The food was excellent and the service the same. The fish was very fresh and cooked to order. The key lime pie was excellent!

After being in Aruba 21 nights, we figured we had dinner at Fishes&More at least 7 times. I think it is the best fish and the best for your money in all of Aruba..Excellent service and friendly staff that serves fantastic food.On site parking is a plus.

gaan we 2 keer per week naar fisches en more.
het eten is heerlijk , vooral de lobster is geweldig .

A review that is long overdue. Love, love, love their spicy shrimp dish. Service is fantastic and the setting, as mentioned, is very relaxing. A must-do while in Aruba.

I always make it to Fishes & More at least one time during our visit. The food is fantastic but most of all I LOVE the atmosphere. It is so relaxing, sitting outside is a must. Usually there is some type of music playing.

Look no further for the ultimate and complete dining experience. Service is impecable. Food is top quality. If you always wanted to try Carpaccio but never did this is the place. Molto buono!! We went back a second time we loved it so much. The manager Jeroen will see to it you have a great time.

Fishes and More is one of our favorite restaurants on the Island. This was our first dinner and our last dinner this trip. We cannot get enough of the Mussels, they are sooo good. We were talking about them weeks before arriving, if you are a Mussels fan they are a must try!
For dinner I had one of the specials, pan seared Grouper with Shrimp covered and melted cheese sitting on a bed of fresh vegs, my Girlfriend had the surf and turf, both were wonderfully prepared and very tasty. Our server Alex, took very good care of us and was very attentive. We look forward to our next trip and have already begun to think about the Mussels!

Oct 2010 MUST TRY THIS RESTAURANT
The food & service was so good we returned for a second visit. My husband had the red snapper & I had the Mahi Mahi. Both were cooked perfectly & simply & served with appropriate sauces. On our second visit I tried the filet mignon (just for something different.) Surprisingly, considering this is a FISH restaurant, the Filet Mignon was Fantastic, tender, tasty & cooked to perfection. Also, both evenings we had the early bird special. Quite a bargain (save room for dessert). Lastly, the staff & service were excellent. A must try, for a casual, relaxed but gourmet dinner.

My wife and I decided to have dinner here as per the good reviews from this site. and it didnt disappoint! they have an early bird special from 4:30-6:30, at about $22US per person. so decent choices, we both had the catch of the day for our entree. i had the red snapper, my wife had the grouper and both were amazing. food was fresh and presented well. the servers were very attentive and friendly, coming by often to fill our waters and offer us additional bread. We didnt make a reservation, and there was plenty of seating when we arrived around 6pm. Highly recommended!

There are so many better restaurants I wouldn’t bother trying this one. Now they don't take travelers checks which we found out after we paid the bill. Seems like the positive comments below are from early bird dinners whom prefer price over quality.

We visited Fishes & More in 2009 and went back this year. On this visit, we were there in time for the Early Bird special, which is an incredible value! Service was excellent, fish was grilled to perfection. We'll be back next year!

We were out and about and happened to catch the "early bird special." Normally you expect lesser quality for this special, but not in this case. The food was excellent, Lisa our server was very attentive and professional, and the inexpensive Spanish house wine was a perfect compliment to the meal. A wonderful experience that we hope to repeat often.

Absolutely FANTASTIC!!! My family and I chose to dine here mostly in part because we were not hussled in the street to "come try their menu". We didn't feel the pressure to eat here which is something that we liked very well!!
We didn't have reservations but were seated immediately, which was nice! Our waitress was very attentive and even when we had questions she couldn't answer, she still went and found out for us!
The food was by far the best that we had on our entire vacation!! I had the Coconut Rum Shrimp and at $27 I thought it was a bargin!! You get what you pay for with this restaurant, as my entire family left the table full!! The prices are great as well, it was the cheapest that our family ate the entire vacation!!
I would recommend Fishes and More to anyone!! It is a must try while on your trip!!

My husband and I love fishes and more and recomend it to anyone going to Aruba. We have eaten there at least once every year for many many years and have never been unhappy, actually it is our favorite. We'll see you in a few days.

We have eaten at Fishes & More every week since it opened many years ago. We have never been disappointed with any food that we have eaten there and the fish, especially the grouper, is the best on the island. If you are looking for excellent food, outstanding service and reasonable prices, with a management that is always ready to please you, this is the place to go. Try the Apple Strudel!

Dear Beth, after reading you're review i would like to react on it. First of all I feel sorry for the bad experience you and you're husband had in our restaurant. But I would like to tell you that we are doing an average of 100 guest a night, and we haven't had a complain in years, this is due because we choose to work we good and fresh products and because we work with a "a la minute" order system, so nothing is prepared in the afternoon. therefor i would like to know when you had dinner in our restaurant and what you're dinners were. please don't hesitate to contact me direct so we can solve you're complain. Food was disgusting and to top it off I woke up with diarrhea the following morning after eating here. Prices were too high considering the taste of the food. The only plus was they had decent service and wine. Would trade bad service for good food though. I don't understand the previous reviews as my husband and I thought the opposite of this place.

Hey....we told Katrina and Jimmy to go there! Our party of 6 went to Fishes and More for the Early Bird special. Three courses for the best price on the Island. Everyone enjoyed their meals but the guys who ordered steak were in heaven. What a piece of meat! We returned again because it had been so good the first time. Our only complaint was the loud group who were at the bar for Happy Hour. But hey, it is One Happy Island and they did leave.
