Ramon Helgers and Karsten Gesing founded Madame Janette April 2nd
1999. Their collaboration resulted into a place, which offers fine dining in a casual atmosphere.

Ramon is responsible for the exotic fruits, herbs and vegetables you will find in not only our dishes, but also in most supermarkets on Aruba. Karsten, a European Master Chef, trained in 'old school' traditions creates, with help from his knowledgeable international
staff, tasteful and creative dishes. Their combined worldwide experience
gives their dishes an original flavour with a touch of Caribbean in it. We call it the Madame Janette Experience! We hope that you will have a wonderful dining romance.

Very good food, more traditional french style. We tried the duck, the mahi-mahi, almond grouper and shrimp casserole. All very tasty. Service was nice, though the restaurant was very crowded. We had made reservations 2 days in advance and did not have any waiting time when we got there. Overall a very nice dining experience.

Very disappointed. We had heard that this was such a great place to go. The food was terrible and the service was not at all attentive... they all seemed too busy to get to us. It's too bad because the environment was so nice and the singer was very good and entertaining.

This was hands-down the best meal we had in Aruba during our Honeymoon visit. From the complimentary champagne with sugar on the rims of the glasses to the superb entrees we impressed and will be back. Highly recommend making a visit & you'll probably even spend a little less than you would at some of the other "nice" restaurants on the island.

This restaurant is great. The food is excellent and well prepared. I have been to Aruba the last 3 years and tried many of the good and bad restaurants. My wife and I definitely like to eat at good places. This is one that I would recommend to everyone.

Absolutely fabulous experience. We also went to several restaurants that were more expensive, but less impressive. The food was fantastic with large servings and the best martinis we had on the island. Not one bad thing I can say....a must see when you visit Aruba.

One of the most enjoyable meals i had. The ambience is wonderful, an i rather enjoyed the 2 person band. We stuffed oursleves with their delicious brad and butter ( even asked for seconds) and the portions were fresh and delicious. A definite good find!!!

Our favorite restaurant on the island. We had a wonderful meal - my wife had a lobster pasta dish and I had beef tenderloin with spinach, mushrooms, lobster and hollandaise sauce. Although they do not have a children's menu, they are very accomodating and will create a dish - they made a pasta dish for my five year old. When she got tired and fell asleep, they got an extra chair and a pillow and made a bed for her!

This was our first visit there, the food was incredible and the presentation was awesome. Can't say enough good things about them. Wished we have gone back a second time while there for 15 days.
