Passions on the Beach

My husband and I ate dinner at Passions on Sunday, February 19, 2012. We had never been before but heard terrific things about this restaurant. We had 6:30 reservations so we were able to watch sunset from our table. It was fabulous. It took a little while to receive our drinks but the wait was worth it! Our food was heavenly!!! We have been on the island for 2 weeks already, and this dinner was the best I've had so far! I had the Grouper with coconut and banana dip and my husband had the Red Snapper with sesame seeds. The dishes were excellent!! I cannot wait to go back to this restaurant. You can see a lot of sunsets from a lot of restaurants, but you can't always get a beautiful sunset and outstanding food together at the same place! Highly recommend going!!

We went to the restaurant because of all the rave reviews. We made a reservation for 8:30p.m. and were completely ignored until 8:45 p.m. They asked us if we would mind joining the couple behind us at a table(turned out they were a very nice couple & enjoyed their company). Once seated & given the menus it was another an hour before our order was taken and the food arrived (appetiser & meal almost at the same time). They started taking down the tables around us & extiquishing the torches before our meal had even arrived. We felt the price & the service did not go hand in hand and were very dissapointed.

The food was delicious, server was great and environment was amazing!

Not only was our dining experience an amazing one.....Kudos to you and your amazing staff!! Every detail was just 'perfect'!! What could be better than wonderful food, courteous service, and a backdrop of sunset and stars!! We were so incredibly and pleasantly surprised. We picked Passions out of many other wonderful places for the sole reason of dining on the beach, for our last dinner in Aruba. It truely left us "WOWED" !! Thank you SO much.....we will be back!!

After many beach setting restaurants we have tried on the island, this year ( Feb 12) we discovered Passions. This is by far the best, --even for 79 year olds with a touch of romance left. Just terrific!!!!!!

Probably the most romantic spot on the island. The ambiance was excellent. Live music accompanies the soft roll of the waves. The service is excellent and the food is very good. Passions is a must while staying in Aruba

We went to Passions on the Beach for the first time this week and this is truly a restaurant that you could not improve! The food was fabulous as was the setting on the beach - so romantic and peaceful. And the service - from greeting to farewell - was superb. Our waiter, Roel was so attentive and responsive - he gave us wonderful suggestions - the watermelon salad and the grouper were superb. We never waited for anything and it was as if he could anticipate all our needs.

We went back 3 days later and would have returned a third time but could not get in.

Once again my family and I thoroughly enjoyed the exquisite cuisine and setting not to mention the excellent service when we dined at Passions in mid-January, 2012 ... it was fantastic. We will definitely be back again next year to enjoy a wonderful dining experience and we highly recommend this restaurant to all.

Everything was perfect, once again. We so enjoy having Diane as our server. She is really pleasant & an asset to your establishment.
