Passions on the Beach
A dinner at Passions on the Beach is far and away the most romantic and unique Aruba restaurant experience on the island. Dine with your feet in the soft white sand and the soothing sound of the gentle waves caressing the shore. Watch the breathtaking sunset on Eagle Beach while tiki-torches slowly light the night. The fresh cuisine varies from meat to freshly caught fish while the desserts offer an indulgent treat you won't forget.

We've visited Aruba for a week for the past three years & have never had the pleasure of dining at Passions restaurant. That won't happen again. Our dinner was outstanding. Both my wife & I ordered the Grouper & it was perhaps the best we've ever, ever, had. The view of the ocean & the sunset only enhanced our experience.

To make matters even better, our waiter was the absolute best! He was knowledgeable, attentive, engaging, yet never overbearing. On a scale of 1-10 we would give him a 15!

We'll definitely be back next year & you can rest assured that when any of our friends visit Aruba we will tell them to dine at Psssions On The Beach.

We had a wonderful time at Passions and it was actually the best meal we had while in Aruba and all our meals in Auruba were amazing. It was a lovely way to end our very wonderful vacation. Many thanks to the entire Passions staff!

This was our second consecutive year at Passions for the sunset dinner. We were there this April. 6:30 pm. We took our now 12 year old- she was so excited to go back. The food again was delicious- my husband had grouper, i had mahi mahi and our daughter a filet mignon. we had dessert as well. Our waiter was very friendly and they strive to make your experience one of a kind. nothing beats the setting.
We will be back next year.

I just returned from Aruba after enjoying 2 wonderful weeks there. I decided to make reservations for the first time at Passions. Our party of four thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at Passions! The atmosphere was wonderful, Martin was our fabulous waiter - very gracious and attentive. The food was delicious, and the drinks were good. I especially enjoyed my appetizer, which, oddly enough was a combination of fresh chunks of watermelon combined with feta cheese and a light and flavorful chili sauce. It was a perfect combination of sweet, salty and spice - and it was beautifully presented in half a watermelon shell.Live romantic background music just added to the evening. We will definitely be back to Passions next year. It’s now on our short list of the best dining spots on the island. It also doesn't hurt to dine with your toes in the sand...

Thanks for the memories….

Our dinner at Passions was by far the best dinning experience on Aruba. My husband and I both had the Filet with lobster, all was prepared to perfection. Great presentation, server was very attentive to all our needs. We were very fortunate it wasn't too windy that night, a perfect sunset added to the evening. My only dislike was the outhouse. I must admit it was very clean, but not what I expected at a fine dining establishment. Would definitely go back when in Aruba again.

The location and atmosphere make this restaurant spectacular. The food is just OK when compared to most metropolitan restaurants, but very good for the island. I have the same complaint for almost all aruba restaurants, too much sauce! Bathroom was being worked on so we had to go across the street to the hotel lobby, but the property was very well maintained and the beach sand was powder soft. Waitstaff was very friendly.

We ate at Passions on night 2 of our honeymoon in Aruba.

We had a very impressive table in the sand, on the beach, across from Amsterdam Manor. Seating was prompt (we had a reservation), and service very attentive. Due to our activities during the day, we got there after sunset, which I imagine would add to the experience.

As with our experience with Marandi, Pinchos, and The Old Man and the Sea, we found that 90% of the experience was the beach front seating. The food itself was a solid A-, but the only dish we truly loved was the crab salad appetizer.

My conclusion from trying most of top-5 beachfront locations is that you should do at least 1, but after that, perhaps better food can be had at locations without the beachfront seating, nice as it is (and without quite the price premium they can command)
