Passions on the Beach
A dinner at Passions on the Beach is far and away the most romantic and unique Aruba restaurant experience on the island. Dine with your feet in the soft white sand and the soothing sound of the gentle waves caressing the shore. Watch the breathtaking sunset on Eagle Beach while tiki-torches slowly light the night. The fresh cuisine varies from meat to freshly caught fish while the desserts offer an indulgent treat you won't forget.

WOW! What a great surprise. We expected the beach setting to be fantastic (which it was) but the food and the service were a big surprise. The food was outstanding. Don't let the name bother you-there were six women in my party and we rated this the best restaurant overall. I've been coming to Aruba for 25 years and tried most of the restaurants and this one just blew me away.Great job!

Your restaurant exceeded our expectations. The meal, your staff and the setting were truly wonderful. This was our first visit to Aruba and we plan to come back again. We will certainly visit Passions on the Beach and have told everyone about your restaurant. L.D., New Jerseyļ

We experienced this sensation in May 2008 for our honeymoon. It was so romantic and the food was excellent. The servers were friendly and helpful. We will surely go back this May, 2010.

After several vacations to Aruba this was our first time at Passions. We truly enjoyed everything about it. The food was wonderful and the setting was amazing. Live background music was an added plus...we even got to enjoy a dance. VERY romantic. A keeper in our book.

The food and the service were wonderful. It is the most romantic place we have ever eaten. The beach dining was both elegant and casual at the same time. There is a small dance floor for the true romantic so you can sway to sound of romantic songs and the ocean splashing. Lorenzo, our waiter, was delightful and his attention to detail exceptional. If there was the ability to rate our dining experience higher we would give it a 10++++++.

Our dining experience was awesome at Passions. We had been there the first year it opened and were a little skeptical to go back again because the first time had not been good....too many people, not enough help and a long wait time for dinner. This time was wonderful!!! Our waiter was a young man from Holland, Sjoerd, new to the island for just a few weeks. He was most efficient and pleasant. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our evening!!!

We wish we could find the words to tell you what a WONDERFUL experience it was dining at Passions on the Beach! Our last night in Aruba could not have been more perfect or romantic.....from the full moon, lapping waves, candles and tiki lamps, and your incredible waitstaff, it was PERFECT! The lighted menues were a complete surprise and welcomed on a dark beach. Thank you for a most memorable night full of Passion(s) on the Beach!!

My husband and I shared a wonderful meal here on our recent trip to Aruba. Service was attentive but not pushy, and we took some lovely pictures of the sunset (our waiter even took a really nice picture of us). Even though it is situated on a public beach, we didn't find that we were interrupted by beach-goers at all. It is on the expensive side (although not outrageous for Aruba, especially considering the ambiance and food quality), so while most might not be able to eat here on a nightly basis, it's definitely a must-do if you're looking for a romantic dinner with a beautiful view. I do wish they had better on-site bathroom facilities (there's a port-a-potty on-site), but the restroom was clean at least. Make sure to try their Passion Flower cocktail!

What a disappointment!!! I made a reservation on line and thankfully printed out my confirmation. When we showed up they kept saying they had no record of our reservation. OK--you don't but I do- it wasnt full so just seat us.

After 15 minutes we were seated. The food was slow in coming out and they brought my daughter the wrong dish. Since it was already getting late she ate it anyways. The place was so dark we could hardly see what we were eating.

My son then asked where the bathroom was located. The staff told him that the bathroom was locked and he would have to walk across the street to go in the hotel.

The last straw was when we went to order dessert the waiter told us that they closed the kitchen and it was too late to order anything. Why didn't the waiter ask us what we wanted before they closed up and kept it ready for us.

All in all a very bad experience. If you want to eat outside on the beach stick with Flying Fishbone.
