Passions on the Beach

In 6yrs. of going to Aruba this was one restuarant you should take a pass on. Nice environment but that is it.Taxi driver stated were do you want to go? "I do not go there often" That should have been a clue. But we made the mistake. Service was really bad,and distant.DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME way to many other great choices......

If there was ever a perfect setting for the most romantic and delicious dining experience one could imagine Passions is that place!! My wife and I celebrated the last night of our honeymoon here and it was perfect. A beautiful sunset with a great piano singer had us dancing barefoot in the sand. My wife had the shrimp and lobster tail I ordered the filet and lobster tail. Both were cooked to perfection with an ample portion size. Our waiter John was very attentive and chose a special honeymoon desert of cheese cake and fruit tart with flaming decoration. It was the perfect end to an unforgettable meal. Passions is a must for lovers of all ages who love great food in the most beautiful surroundings. We cannot wait to return!!

Passions is amazing. Besides the food being wonderful, the atmosphere is outstanding. I couldn't believe we found a restaurant with such a wonderful location but also had delicious food to go with it!
My husband stated it was the best meal he has had in Aruba yet.. and thats over a span of 8 years!

We really enjoyed our dining experience on the beach. The food was good and the service was also. The setting is great and so romantic. Also enjoyed the music, but wish it would have lasted longer. My wife and I were dancing in the sand up until the time the food was brought. Would have liked to sit there and have a drink longer if the music would have kept playing, but he said he had to go to another resort. We would do it again when we return to Aruba!

This was our first time at Passions and it's EXCEPTIONAL!!! This restaurant is a must for everyone to experience on their vacation in Aruba! The atmosphere is AMAZING!! You eat right on the beach, feet in the sand as you dine with the sunset!! AMAZING and So ROMANTIC!!! I highly recommend this restaurant! The food and service is excellent! Great place for all you guys wanting to propose!!!!! We will definitely be back at Passions

Well, what can I say about this restaurant - it was excellent ! The location (you can't get better than being on a beautiful beach watching the sunset), the staff, the food, the menu, the singer, the ambience were all perfect. It was our friends 25th wedding anniversary and her birthday and the staff went out of their way to make it a memorable occasion. If you are in Aruba then this restaurant is a must.

My husband and I have been going to Aruba for the last 3 years now and how we haven't come across Passions is a total mystery to me! We absolutely loved EVERYTHING about this wonderful, romantic restaurant!Let me start from the beginning...before we were going to Aruba I looked up on the internet romantic places to eat (we were celebrating our 25th annivesary)and came across Passions the reviews were wonderful and I thought a perfect place to celebrate our anniversary! Wow was I right! I emailed my reservation, and Marc got back to me right away, very courteous, friendly and professional e-mail, he hooked me from the beginning! Our evening started on a moonlit, starlit night, just perfect for a romantic night! We were greeted immedietly and shown to our table. It is beyond words how beautiful this setting was! I have been to other beach restaurants and this by far exceeded any expectations I have ever had! The restaurant had a singer who sang wonderful romantic songs and acknowledged our anniversary with a beautiful song..needless to say it had me in tears! We didn't dance because we were being waited on at the time so our waiter (loved him, I wish I could remember his name) asked the singer if he could play our wedding song for us and boy he did! I was shocked he knew the song, it was so beautiful we got right up from our table (which was directly in front of the ocean and danced in the sand it was so beautiful! The food..fantastic! The portions were large compared to many other restaurants we visited, I had the pesto grouper..(best on the island), we ordered 1 salad which was big enough for two..the dressing superb! We of course had a bottle of wine, not over priced. Our waiter was wonderful, very attentive and sweet! Passions is now our #1 restaurant on our list and we can't wait for next year to go back! Thank-you Marc and staff for everything!!

We went to Passions for the first time in mid October 08 and I have to say it was excellent! It was by far the best restaurant we went to all week. We requested a table in the first row closest to the water around 6pm to watch the sunset. It was beautiful. The food is excellent - the seafood soup is delicious. The staff was so friendly and the service was great. My dinner was wonderful. It was the most romantic dinner I have ever had. They dedicated a song to us which was a nice touch. I had an amazing time. Food was great, service was great, the staff is so friendly, and words cannot describe the atmosphere. The setting reminded me of something they would do in the show "the bachelor" I give it a perfect "10." My boyfriend and I went back to the hotel and highly recommended it to the conciere to add to there list. Best of all the bus stops right by it so it's an easy location to get to by bus or cab (or walk if you stay in Eagle Beach). Trust me - go here!

First I would like to say that our experience far exceeded any expectations that I could have imagined.

Location - was perfect. A quiet area on the beach , right at the ocean's edge while the sun was setting. How more romantic could it be!

Arrival/Greeting - Beautiful entrance area with the walkway , concierge and lounge for the bar. We were greeted personally by your staff who made us feel as if we had been friends for years.


Service - was impeccable , attentive and non-intrusive. The young lady who served us (I apologize , but I do not recall her name , but a young lady from Holland) , made us feel comfortable and very special. She was extremely helpful in our choices of wine and dinner , always seemed to be there when we needed attention , but never intruded in our private moment.


Food & Drink - We have dined at many excellent restaurants , and I would like to say that the choice , quality and presentation of the dinner , as well as the recommendations provided , rival the best we have experienced.



Atmosphere & Entertainment - could not have been more romantic or suited to our needs. The live singer and the dance floor was the perfect setting for us. We have been married 20 years and love to dance. The music was perfect and I feel that we must have danced for hours. Our complete experience lasted over 3 hours and we never felt that we were rushed. I believe we closed the restaurant. Not bad for a 6:30 reservation.



I would like to thank Marc and his staff for providing us with an evening that we will never forget. My wife was so amazed and surprised by this evening that I feel she may have fallen in love with me all over again. We will definitely be visiting your establishment again next time we are in Aruba. I spoke with many of our friends regarding our experience , and will not hesitate to continue to recommend Passions as the most "Romantic Experience in Aruba"
