Passions on the Beach

My wife & I went to this restaurant because of its reveiws. Well I thought they were overrated. The catch of the day had a terrible fishy smell when they took the lids of them. I see the waiter 2 times. Once to order and once to refill my empty glass of water that was empty for over for over 10 minutes. Nice atmosphere, BUT besides that I did not feel there anything there to make me want to come back. We told the manager when we left our thoughts & it did not seem to mean much to him. Would not be a repeat customer again. $85.00 bill for what? A sunset. NOT!!

Wow, as I am still telling family and friends (and anyone else who will listen!)
about our phenomenal dinner at Passions on the last, and most memorable, nite of our fantastic trip to Aruba, I can only provide words of praise, from the outstanding service, delicious meals, great wine, and no pressure to exit our beachfront table for 2. It was a wonderful and romantic evening that my husband and I will always treasure-thank you all at Passions!!!

My wife and I were on our honeymoon, staying at La Cabana for a week. On our last evening in wondrous Aruba, we chose to eat at Passions. We saved the best for last. We have one of the many pictures your cordial staff took on our behalf that we share as the essence of our entire stay in Aruba. The service was excellent. During our visit was ate grouper every which way you can. The best was at Passions. Top that off with our feet in the sand and a spectacular sunset and it could not have been any better. Some very nice wine and the quiet sounds of a single guitar to further the ambiance made the night perfect.

I am usually pretty good at pointing out areas for improvement. I can't think of a single thing that could have made the evening any better, short of making it last forever. And we will always have the wonderful memory of our last night in Aruba. Thank you.

I thought it would be a bit touristy. I was wrong. Exceptional food (I had the seafood soup - one of the best soups I can recall and the lamb was the best lamb I have ever had). Exceptional drinks. Exceptional setting. Exceptional service. Reasonable price.

I hope they don't change a thing.

We had an unbelievably awesome time at Passions!! Everything from beginning to end was perfect. I especially loved the surprise sparkler on my birthday dessert and impromptu 'Happy Birthday to You' song by their waitstaff . Our waitress was very attentive to pick up on our conversation that we were there for my birthday. My boyfriend didn't ask for anything special, she surprised us totally on her own. Now that's an example of wonderful service by their staff!

This is a restaurant you don't want to miss!

Great romantic dinner. Very friendly staff, great service, and great food. I ordered steak and it was perfect. Wear shoes that are good for walking in soft sand, because you are on the beach. We checked local sunset times and arrived in time to watch the sunset during dinner. For later dining, the menu is illuminated so you can easily see to order anytime. A definite "must do" for couples spending romantic time in Aruba. The waitress even asked if we would like her to order a cab to take us back to our hotel, so it was a very easy evening.

Honestly, there is nothing that could have made our experience better. Flawlessly executed seaside dinner.

We return every year to Passions and have always had excellent food and service. This year, 11 of us had dinner and all were delighted with the food, atmosphere and service.

We've been here several times over the years and it never disappoints. Had dinner with three friends (we opted for an 8pm dinner since we weren't interested in a sunset/romantic evening) and all of entrees and appetizers were excellent. The crab salad and the tuna tropical were my favorites (tuna was cooked just the way I asked - medium rare.) The ambiance here (even after sunset) is still amazing with your toes in the sand, music, and tiki torches. You just really cannot miss this restaurant while in Aruba - it's one of our favorites!

My wife and I both thought the meal was fantastic, from start to finish. Never rushed to order, or eat and leave to open up the table. The food was cooked perfectly and tasted great (and priced very reasonably as well!), and our server (Naomi) was friendly, helpful and provided simply brilliant service. The sunset was beautiful, the atmosphere was top notch. We came away with a great meal and some really phenomenal pictures (courtesy of Naomi, who was taking pictures of every table around us, in addition to providing excellent service!).

I wouldn't change a thing about our experience at Passions!
