My wife and daughters highlight of their trip as we have been going to Pinchos now for six years. Great layout, food and service just compliments the evening. Anabella is terrific with our daughter as she always takes her to feed the fish when we are there. Anabella is the perfect definition of an owner of an establishment like this---she always makes sure that her customers are satisfied and well looked after with their evening out, but always at a discreet distance. Very highly recommended.

We were there last night. The place is very charming and romantic, the staff was friendly and polite. Unfortunately we were not lucky with the quality of food, and we were sick all night. Hopefully it was just an accident ...

Unfortunately we didn't make reservations and weren't able to get a table with a view of the sunset. We both got the pan searted grouper and it was delicious. Portions were small compared to other restaurants. Had room for desert and got the chocolate ganache cake which was out of this world. Our waitress was a doll and so friendly to talk to. Will definitely go back.

Last minute decision to go here for dinner so we didn't have a reservation when we arrived around 7ish and the place was full. We weren't overly picky and decided to just eat at the bar which they said was no problem.

Had some wonderful skewers of tenderloin and shrimp along with a couple of their salads. Very good and friendly service at the bar, too! Love the view of downtown over the water.

We have dined at Pinchos 6 times in the past 3 years. We never visit the Island without at least one visit to Pinchos. The owner Anabela is a doll. I worked with her last year to plan a post vow renewal reception for a friend and it worked out perfectly.

The food at Pinchos is very simple yet elegant. Everything is cooked on the outdoor grills so don't go there expecting ultra gourmet food. They do excel at what they make though...which are tasty light dishes. They make great drinks. The ambiance cannot be beat and the views are fantastic. Hands down favorite restaurant on the island (no the most gourmet food but for the overall experience).

Atmosphere is what brings most here - we would guess. This was our second dinner here on different trips and both meals were average for the price. Not bad yet not noteworthy. Too many exceptional choices to consider a third dinner here. Add $40 for the cab ride from the high rises (which we would not mind paying for a memorable meal)

First went to Pincho's about 5 years ago on the high recommendation of a relative to works for a major hotel chain on Aruba. We were told it's a place where "locals" love to dine. It continues to be a friendly place that serves excellent food (the pork is to die for!!). The co-owner Anabella is very personable and engaging. When I fouled up our reservation arrival time by an hour she and the general manager did everything they could to get us a table rather than our alternative -- eating at the bar. And with this restaurant on the water (on a pier) you can get the best views of cruise ships coming and leaving as well as airplanes arriving and departing. We would not think about going to Aruba without at least one night at Pincho's!

It was great to be back in my wife and daughters favourite restaurant in Aruba. Since the island is so full of great eating establishments, it is also one of my favourites as well. Great atmosphere to go along with the chefs terrific area to prepare our dinners. The owner even took our daughter out on the dock to feed the fish on their pier after supper. A first class operation all the way that nobody should miss.

Picked this restaurant based on the reviews. Disappointed but glad to experience the view. Go for a drink. Bar is in the middle. Tables are on the perimeter. Not very child friendly. One meal option - mini-burgers of some kind. Really, in Aruba? Couldn't you have fish or shrimp option for children? So both of my children ordered off of the adult menu. The food was only fair. I ordered the shrimp skewer as I heard this was one of their better dishes. Everything was underseasoned. Shrimp were just OK - kind of dried out and overcooked to tell you the truth. Potato was completely tastless. We walked out of there after paying a hefty bill. Nice view, but just go for a drink. One positive was they did have either a performer or DJ playing music. We enjoyed that. The food was nothing special.

Pinchos is a great restaurant - on the water - yes on a pier over the water. Food - delicious, staff -friendly, and attentive and the owner is always visible. The bar in the middle is also a great place to watch the sun set. Pinchos is a must dine for us every visit.

Nice restaurant and on the water. I had Grilled Salmon with grilled veggies and rice, very good meal. My husband had a meat skewer which consisted of chorizo, pork tenderloin, beef tenderloin, chicken and shrimp along with a baked potato and grilled vegetables. He really enjoyed his meal too. We had a bench for two to have our intimate dinner.

My wife and I have been vacationing in Aruba for several years, and with each visit we make it our goal to eat at Pinchos at least twice.
There is no better restaurant on the island for ambience. The owners are very engaged with the diners and make you feel at home.
I do not believe it to be a fun place for kids however.

Incredible atmosphere-literally on a pier over the ocean. Great food- Great service, the owner is involved and emailed back and forth with me the day of our reservation to help me get an earlier reservation time. She then came and chatted with us at dinner to make sure everything was enjoyable. Friendly staff, amazing atmosphere, fresh quality food. We will definitely be coming on our annual visits tot he island for now on!

This place had great reviews, but despite reserving in advance and asking for a prime water-side table since it was our anniversary, we were seated right next to the entrance and pretty much ignored other than token service. The food was not great, they were out of Wahoo, vegetables were overcooked. We watched others arrive without reservations and be taken to prime tables, yet for some reason the host had decided we did not deserve decent service (and we did nothing to justify that). This place does NOT live up to its reviews and I would not go back there.

Pinchos Grill & Bar is a beautiful setting. We ejoyed our dinner and the sunset here very much. The highlight of the evening was the peanut butter and chocolate pie so don't miss that. My husband wanted to go back every night of our trip and get another piece. The only thing that was unpleasant was some very loud music coming from a few streets away but since no other reviews mention it, maybe it was a one-time thing. Very lovely place.

What a great place!! We had gone past the sign for Pinchos for several years and had not heard much about it. We decided to give it a try and are we glad we did. It is a great setting, the service was great and the food was very good. The filet with the blue cheese dark rum sauce was outstanding. The salads were also standouts and the cocktail menu was the best we saw all week! Two very big thumbs up for Pinchos.

Great ambiance and food! The restaurant is on a pier over the water with lovely soft blue lights under the pier. Very romantic place for dinner and/or drinks.

In the past everything was served on a skewer (hence the name "pinchos") but there were a couple of entrees this time that were not which was a nice variety. Husband had a mixed skewer and I had the tenderloin (both excellent.) We split their salsa salad (which I love) and we also shared a carrot cake for dessert (best carrot cake I've ever had.) Very nice evening - it's definitely a keeper on our "to do" restaurant list.

We ate at Pinchos on night 6 of our honeymoon in Aruba.

We had a nice table on the dock, altho we were on the beach side, and not the ocean side, even tho we had a 7pm reservation. We couldn't see the sunset, altho, we're not sure it was really visible from the more ocean side tables either, as there was land that jutted out to the west of Pincho's and blocked the view.

We drove, but I think it would have been easily walkable from the Renaissance.

As with our experience with Marandi, Passions, and The Old Man and the Sea, we found that 90% of the experience was the water front seating. The food itself was an A-.

My conclusion from trying most of top-5 beachfront locations is that you should do at least 1, but after that, perhaps better food can be had at locations without the beachfront seating, nice as it is (and without quite the price premium they can command)

Reservation started off with being asked to sit at the bar, table not ready for about 30 minutes. Beautiful pier location, with tables overlooking the water. Enjoyed the coconut shrimp with mango sauce and the grouper. Both were enjoyable but nothing special. Service was very spotty. Would probably return only for cocktails at the bar.
