Food was superb but the service was even better! Steaks cooked exactly as you would like them - appetizers lovely. My wife always has the lobster bisque and I am a wedge-of-lettuce-with-blue-cheese afficiendo. But it is expensive, no doubt...dinner for two without drinks will be $180.

Aruba location.Very disappointed in food (steak preparation) and sevice. Cowboy Ribeye was ordered to split with one half medium and other medium rare. waitress said she could do this and split steak to cook to order, steak came to table (she was nowhere around) and when put on plates continue to cook (nice hot plates as usual) but the steak to be med-rare was med-well. Had to wait for them to cook a filet instead. Found out later from manager our deserts were to be no charge(after we ordered one and manager then told me). gave us the filet but when bill came I had to tell waitress it was susposed to be no charge. Will not go back. FYI, bill was l $175 for a mediocre experience

A terrific meal with impecable service and the most impressive part was we have a nine year old daughter and they have as impressive a childrens portion menu as you will ever find. This is a restaurant that signifies "you get what you pay for" and they definitely fit that bill.

Having been to other Ruth's, my expectations were fairly low, but this was a pleasant surprise. Our Crabtini was very good (better with the cocktail sauce my wife decided to order) and the T-Bone was enormous, flavorful and perfectly cooked.

Food was good. Service was great. Prices were very expensive. We wouldn't have gone there if we had not received a Gift Certificate from our children. Chalet Suisse is alway great with much better pricing.

Six of us for dinner. Each couple ordered from the 'special' $99/couple deal. It was good but I think the most memorable part of the evening was spending time with friends and the excellent cocktail special. Their apple martini was a hit but four of them added an additional $60 to our bill - one of most expensive dinners once service was added, we paid while in Aruba. The Service was friendly and professional. We'll probably not return as we're not carnivores and prefer fish.

Somewhat mixed review. Pricey, of course. Also, my medium-rare filet was well done, and another had some gristle. Two others were perfect. Shoestring fries, gumbo, house salad, creamed spinach, and sauteed mushrooms were all excellent. Chocolate lava cake was large portion, and just good, but it was not a true lava cake--just a little fudge sauce on top underneath the vanilla ice cream. Fresh-baked bread was outstanding, but two acknowledged efforts to get more went unanswered. They forgot to bring spoons for desert. So that was a little frustrating. They did let us bring in snacks for the kids, which was very nice. A 9 for environment, just because we did not have a view. Presentation was OK, but other places' creations are starting to look like Iron Chef items, so this place is falling a little behind in presentation.

Ruth's Chris is the best! The petite with shrimp, garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus was the main course and was excellent. When it came to desert wow, the chocolate sin cake, the bread pudding, and the apple pie with ice cream was excellent! The citrus mojito was great. Thank you Cesar, Marisol, and Chris the woman manager. Awesome place to dine.

My wife and I have been to Aruba five times and have eaten in over 30 restaurants. We both agree that our dinner at Ruth's Chris Steak House was one of the best, if not the best dining experiences we have ever had in Aruba. We arrived at 7:00pm, which is a good time to be seated in a lovely booth facing the entrance to the restaurant. Manny, our waiter was about as attentive as any waiter we have had in a while. He gave us his recommendations (which happened to be our favorites). Unsolicuited, Manny brought out two extra plates for us to share our appetizers, ahi tuna and stuffed mushrooms...delicious...I had a grey goose martini and it was the first cocktail in Aruba where the liquor was not watered down...and the martini was served in a 10oz martini glass ... heaven. I had a 22oz giant lobster tailed steamed and my wife had a petite filet mignon cooked to her liking. All during our meal, Manny kept coming over to give us clean plates and to clear our table and ask us if everything was OK. He anticipated our every need. The dessert was wonderful. The cheesecake was a very large mini pie that was out of this world and the cappaccinos were delicious and the right size. All in all, an outstanding dining experience, in any city. We live on Long Island in New York. We have some of the best steakhouses in the country, including a Ruth's Chris Steak House that we have never been to. We will certainly try it when we return home. Thank you Ruth's Chris Steak House for the experience and thank you Manny.

You get what you pay for - Ruth's Chris costs a lot, but the food and experience is worth it. My wife and I tried the "$89 for two" meal special, and we both left full and satisfied. My order came back wrong, which resulted in my low ranking for service. I assume this was an aberration. Very nice, high-class dining.

This is most overrated restaurant on Aruba!!
They are supposed to have the best steaks on the island, the prices they handel sure fit this profile but when the cook prepares the fillet till it tastes like liver something is wrong.
The personel is very pretentious. They have no kids menu, and they sure like to speed up things, when we were still finishing our first course the main course was already waiting next to the table.
We suggest that you keep your money in your pocket and spend it in the numerous other good restaurants on Aruba.

Outstanding steaks and lamb chops, as you would expect from this quality steakhouse. Good caesar salad and an unbelievably good sweet potato and pecan casserole. It's expensive, but you get what you pay for. Dinner for four, no drinks, no desserts, two salads and two sides was around $250.

Seriously overpriced. I ate alone as my travel companion was not feeling well. I had a salad for $9 that was a reasonable size but not large enough to have shared. But $46 for a steak! Supposedly USDA prime and a decent piece of meat, but not nearly as good as the rib eye that I had the previous week at El Gaucho for $29 (and that included three sides). The bread was delicious and hot. Service was upscale but after my meal was served I never saw my server, just the "water lady". I wouldn't go back since there are other, better options. The $89 meal deal didn't help since I was only one person and I didn't like any of the 4 entree options. They offer a 22 oz lobster tail (seriously large) - for $110. I wonder how many of those are sold.

My husband and I ate here this past June while we were staying at the Surf Club. We chose this restaurant because it was within walking distance and we thought they had a promotion that would make our dining here affordable. Needless to say, the promotion had not started yet, but we decided "what the heck we're on vacation, let's give it a try." I must say that I had no intention on eating at a "chain" restaurant when we were in Aruba, but I'm so glad we did. This was by far the best meal and service we had the whole week.

This was our first meal on the island after a long day of traveling and it was the right decision. Very relaxing upscale environment. One of the better Ruth's Chris we've eaten at. Salads & App's are fantastic (BBQ Shrimp are out of this world!). Service was very attentive. Steaks were cooked to perfection and came out with the signature Ruth's sizzle. Marriott made an excellent decision to include this restaurant on their resort property.

The bread comes out hot and very very good. apps were great. The lobster bisque was tasty and it was a bowl not a cup, and the salad was plenty big too. We both got a filet and it was a wonderful cut of meat and cooked just right. The butter was a little much but it does make the dish. The dessert was HUGE!!! It was pricy, paying $175 for dinner IS high, BUT we don't usually get Apps AND dessert so it doesn't have to be that much. You may want to have a few beers before you get there but... I left there FULL AND HAPPY so it was worth the money.
I would make this a must have when visiting the island!!

In my view overpriced for the same food quality as many of the other steakhouses on the island. Service was excellent but the steak plates are too small to get much of anything else on and sides are huge (Ok, you are certainly paying for that much but you need to share them). We spent $210 on dinner for 2 including a bottle of wine (wine list is another thing that is hardly cheap) and I know many restaurants on the island where you could get 2 good meals (including wine both times)for that money. My advice is go elsewhere!

Overpriced and pretentious, but man is the food good. $43 for a medium size filet is unnecessarily expensive; and what's the deal with charging and extra $8.95 for a side? Bottom line is it's really hard to spend less than $70 per person. Still, worth the splurge.

My husband and I recently had the opportunity to dine in the new Ruth's Chris in Aruba. The restaurant is gorgeous. We have eaten at many places in Aruba and this is completely different from all others. Elegant, but not stuffy. The wait staff were friendly and helpful. Our food was served piping hot and done to perfection. I tried the lobster tail and my husband had the filet. Both were great. Our sides were enough to have fed twice as many people. For dessert, we had the cheesecake and fresh berries with creme. Both to die for. We will definitely be back and will recommend to all our friends. What a pleasure to have such high quality arrive on the island!

We have eaten at Ruth Chris in Bethesda and had a great experiance! In Aruba it's new and there is room for improvement. Last night we had a reservation at 6pm and arrived on time when they opened. Asked for best available table 95% vacant. The table offered was in a congested area of tables so we asked for a booth which was then offered. We ordered a salad and requested no onions. The server said there would only be fried onions on top. When the order was received the salad onions inside were overpowering and we had to return it. The second salad was great! We ordered Filet and my wife ordered hers medium. It arrived bloody and was returned. When it came back the filet was medium rare but we kept it anyway. We felt rushed by the wait staff as they tried to clear our table before we were finished twice. we ordered no desert and left with indidestion. I hope next year is better. We will try again.
