We have been to Screaming Eagle every time we come to Aruba (each year) and continue to LOVE IT! One of the chefs, Matos, makes the best sauce on the island and Kati is great! Go here to enjoy fine dining, great food, and great service. Whether your sitting at a table inside or out, or in one of the lavish beds, this is a must while in Aruba.

In the past few years we have been incredibly impressed with SCREAMING EAGLE on all levels. So much so that we placed it on our short list of places to go to more than once while in ARUBA. When we do so, we add an expectation of consistency. Though the food is still wonderful and the service is very good, the quality and service from one visit to the next, this year was, unfortunately, not consistent and that results in lowering our ranking. We like to think that the discrepancy may have been the result of just a bad evening so we will be returning next year to re-assess the matter. In the meantime, SCREAMING EAGLE remains high on our list of recommended places to eat at while in ARUBA.

I ate at Screaming Eagle twice this past week, ordering kangaroo for one meal and duck breast for the second dinner. Both were well prepared. The duck was superb. The kangaroo was a novelty and tasty. Desert for both meals was the delicious chocolate mousse three ways. One meal I also had the mussels presented escargot style and I would order again if I were dining a third time at the restaurant. Overall excellent food and service. Presentation was first class.

Six of ate at Screaming Eagle the last night we were in Aruba. It was a last minute reservation because of the rain. They did a great job. All of us were very pleased with our meals and would go back again. The bartender Ray did a great job with our drinks ( we are a little picky!). And our waitress Lizzy did a great job. It was an excellent experience!

The Screaming Eagle is one of our favorite dining spots in Aruba. The decor is modern and different and we just love eating on the patio. Our food and service from Lizzy were fantastic and we enjoyed the whole experience. A trip to Aruba would not be complete without dining here!

We had the most wonderful dinner there the week of Feb 6th. Our server, Lizzy, was very knowledgable about the menu and very very efficient. My husband had duck liver mousse, which he had never had before, and I'm sure I will hear about it for the coming year until we come back.

One of the best and creative restaurants in Aruba. In addition to their regular menu, they now have specials that change weekly. I had a great carpaccio of wahoo for an appetizer (one of the specials) and the salmon with a soy-sesame sauce. Both were excellent! They also have one of the best wine lists on the island as well - a glass of Piper Heidsieck always hits the spot for a bubbly after dinner drink!

This was my 2nd and 3rd visit to this restaurant and they keep getting better and better!! Top 10 on MY list again!! The Celebrity Martini is beyond compare and the creator even GAVE me his recipe!!Yummy!! Our group tried to try as many things as possible both times and the fresh Mahi was great! The escargot were so yummy and garlicy , we wanted to drink the sauce! I got engaged during the 2nd visit and they tried to make it so special with a small cake, sparklers, hugs and all!!But the food and atmosphere make this place so special. The Red Snapper dish is light and flavorful, the tuna appetizer was loved by all and shared around but the snow crab appetizer was the BEST!!! cannot WAIT to go back!!

Screaming Eagle was recommended to us, and we were pretty happy with the experience. The starter, "Duck Liver Creme Brulee" may have been the best appetizer that I've ever had. It was smooth and flavourful with a light melted sugar crust and wonderful mango puree served on toast points. The artichoke carpaccio was cloyingly sweet and disappointing. I ordered "Tournedos Rousseau" as my entree, which included a perfectly cooked 1 3/4" thick filet mignon and a similarly sized grilled duck liver with black truffled sauce. The first thing I noticed (or didn't notice) was no visable black truffles. The liver was nicely seared, but cold in the middle, due to it's thickness. It also should have been cleaned better to remove the connective tissue. I'd request it sliced into two 3/4" pieces before grilling. The dish was served on a plate of mashed potatos, steamed broccoli, grilled green peppers, and for some curious reason, potato chips. The peppers overpowered the delicate flavors and the chips were simply lost. My wife ordered a medium rare filet mignon that arrived medium well. It was plated with the same potato, broccoli, pepper, chips combonation that we found disappointing. In fairness, the executive chef was away on holiday, so I'm not certain this was representative. Our waitress was extremely friendly and professional. The wine list was both extensive and reasonably priced(for the islands). Overall, a good experience. We would return.

Love this place!

I ordered the white asparagus soup (in honor of white asparagus season) and the Thai carmelized shrimp - husband had the lobster bisque and the duck breast in red port sauce. Dessert was the crepe Suzette prepared tableside. Everything was amazing in flavor!

Can't wait to go back again on our next trip! Chef Erwin is the best!

This is my first trip to Aruba, and I visited 8 top restaurants this last few days. Screaming Eagle is absolutely the best when it comes to everything that's great about dining out. Starting with the friendly and classy servers, great table settings, menu to die for. All courses were prepared perfectly, with some very cool spins: like the Duck Liver Creme Brulee, not just a regular Fois Gras!!
The Champagne was served ice cold, and the mood inside was hot for dining and drinking. We shall be back soon.
Make sure that you make this one of your stops for an elegant and super meal..

SCREAMING EAGLE continues to impress us with their quality and service. It managed to exceed its perfomrance of last year and it has surpassed its parent FLYING FISHBONE. If SCREAMING EAGLE were placed in a setting such as its parent then everything would be perfect. As it is, SCREAMING EAGLE remains a contender for perfection. We are surpised to hear of less than satisfactory performance because we have not experienced that.Slow service is not necessarily bad service if that is part of the ambiance and presentation and we suspect that is something that SCREMAING EAGLE deliberately does so as to not ruch is cutomers and to allow themm to savor the delicious meals that they are consuming. In our opinion, SCREAMING EAGLE has rapidly risen to be a strong contender in ARUBA'S upscale dining arena and we encourage everyone to experience it (even though it is a bit pricey).

al met al, dit was echt geweldig allemaal, nogmaals, erwin bedankt, en natuurlijk de goede service. je word hier echt in de watten gelegd...THANKS

Although we did not have opportunity to experience all the high dining restaurants on the island, we got pretty close. And it is without question that not only this restaurant, Screaming Eagle, stood above all of the rest, it was in a category of its own, making comparisons to anything else meaningless. This restaurant is to be applauded for not only a thoughtful menu, attentive respect to culinary arts but also a carefully-attended-to wine selection. Not only was the service properly executed but also added greatly to the enjoyment of the evening. Our server was Roxanne who demonstrated thorough knowledge of menu and wines. Her assistance was not only greatly appreciated but immensely helpful in making our evening the wonderful experience that it was. We recommended this restaurant to other guests at our hotel with enthusiasm and confidence.

The service was slow. We had to ask 3 different times, 3 different people, for bread. Too many people coming to the table, but nothing was accomplished. We ordered dessert and coffee and asked for a refill on the coffee. We were surprised to see that we were charged for the second cup of coffee. So, for 4 small cups of coffee, the price was $14.00. We dined at the best restaurants in Aruba all week and this was the first time we encountered a charge such as this.

Like in 2009, the Screaming Eagle had been a must on our this year´s dining list.
Again, the food had been a very positive experience. The wine list is convincing, however overprized compared to the other Top 10 restaurants on Aruba.
The service was overall good with one but important exception: instead of Rioja from 2001 that had been offered in the wine list we received without prior notification the same label from 2006 ! Needless to say that this is a no go !

First, I would like to find the photographer who was used for thier Web Site and get them to do my portrait, for it seems somewhat run down as compared to thier web site chic. My Wife commented that the ceiling to floor sheets that divide up the room reminded her of a hospital room dividers. The food and service were good, portions not oversized but know that the prices are somewhat oversized. Dollar for dollar, there may be better choices on the island.

What a good restaurant. The whole lounge feeling of the place is very well implemented. We had Surf&Turf and Catch of the day. Both very well cooked, absolute delight.
Dessert was la tazza famossa(chocolate cup and saucer filled with tia maria and orange sherbet, topped with chocolate mousse )for me – brilliant and very well presented. My wife had tarte tatin, equal good. Good service from the waiter Roxy.
