We did our annual trip to TACO BELL with some trepidation because we have seen a steady decline in the quality of food there and were pleasantly surprised to actually see an improvement this year - not much, but sill better than the last few years. We will still cautiously leave it on our list of places to visit and only time and performance will determine if it will stay on that list. This is by no means gourmet dining.

We admit it - we do try the fast food chains in ARUBA (McDonald's, Burger King, and Pizza Hut as well) and over the years we have seen a steady decline in only TACO BELL. Though the food is much better than in other locations, the menu has steadily declined in its offerings and their quality to the point that we no longer even consider TACO BELL to be a viable alternative. For those enamored with TACO BELL food they will find that it is much better in ARUBA but it still isnot acceptable to us. Go if you must or if you are addicted but bear in mind that you can do better at some other fast food chain.

April 2009.

Had dinner on Saturday evening ..Observations in general service was very poor with one girl standing at the cash and not being very service friendly offering a tray for seating while waiting for the food. Her excuse was that the visitors just walk away w/ the trays and they do not replace these. I checked there were only 4 and handed her these to wipe clean and offer to guests. On the other hand the kitchen workers were handling food with their bear hands and no plastic gloves on. The only gentleman working at a certain moment just pressed the fries in the packet with his hands. All visitors were handed plastic bags at the counter after paying for their food to sit at the tables which were very filthy and not cleaned.. As a U.S. franchise Food Cleanliness & Safety procedures should be implemented and avoid all plastic bags (non-environmental)

I'll second jdvk's review. We never eat at Taco Bell in the US. The Aruba location is cleaner and nicer than any US one I've seen. We get carryout lunch once or twice a trip to eat by the pool. The drive thru is eficient and the food is very good for what it is. Try the fiesta fries.

Great for a quick lunch! Nice little play ground for the kids and the food was pretty much the same as back home! I recommend it for a family with kids, it is affordable and the food is good if you like Taco Bell.

We went here for a fast dinner and it was pretty good. I thought it was the same as in the U.S. although the weird thing is the meals come with fries! Yes you heard right! fries lol. They were great tasting fries!

I'm from New Jersey and I love taco bell. I eat there all the time, and I must say that this is the best taco bell I have ever had. The most noticeable difference between this one and other taco bells I've been to is the amount of food you get. My gordita was stuffed. Great option if you wanna go for something a little cheap but good.
