We went here for the 5-7 pm 3-course early bird special. Had a choice of 3 apps, 3 mains and just bread pudding for dessert. The setting is lovely and the owner (I guess) was very friendly and attentive. The food had beautiful presentation and was delicious. My only negative comment was the bread pudding was cold from the fridge and came with cream instead of the advertised ice cream - no big deal. (It would have been better warmed like Mom used to make.) This special was only $20 per person - well worth it.

Fri 09/16 – Aruban Chef
Read about this place on some of the Aruba BB’s and thought we should give it a try. It’s a bit off the beaten path – inland north of Eagle Beach – just about a block past Amadeus. If you want to give a try to some authentic Aruban food, this is a good choice. When we arrived just one table was occupied; a bit later the place started to fill up and we were the only tourists. DW had a curried shrimp dish and I had Aruban fish soup to start and pan fried grouper topped with shrimps with a fish cake on the side. Sides included with dinner were Pan Bati, funchi (polenta), mixed vegetables, and fried plantains. We both enjoyed our meals. Wine choice was limited – a couple of Chilean reds & whites – DW had a Merlot and I had a Sauvignon Blanc – both were very good. Only negatives is that it would be too much of a trip for most folks and although my fish soup tasted good, there were only 2 small pieces of fish in the soup – but plenty of potatoes. I also thought they over-charged for the drinks, considering that this is a small local restaurant.
