The West Deck

Thanks to Eric at Pinchos (a favorite spot for dinner), we were directed just up the beach to their 'sister restaurant' and tried it the following night. So glad we did. It's an appetizer concept restaurant with traditional Aruban cuisine and also, what I would call 'new Caribbean'. The food was outstanding and the portions, although reasonably priced were much heartier than I imagined. Our server Carlos was friendly, attentive and good at his job, while the chef, Erwin, who came out to introduce himself makes the best Keshi Jena ( they spell it with a 'J' here) on the island. And I've had it everywhere. Get a Beer'ita for something fun and different. Overall A+ on this place. A new favorite for sure and we'll be back!
