We discovered Marandi a few years ago when it was in the old location by the beach. We followed Marandi to the new location and have visited many times since. We stay in Aruba for two weeks a year and visit at least twice while we are there. The food is superb, the service is warm and efficient, and Luc, we just adore you! Miss you! Please build a restaurant in New York!

I had the pleasure of eating at Mirandi this past May while on the island. A friend of mine suggested this restaurant. I loved the location, we were there of course in time for the sunset which is always a beautiful thing on the island. But to add to this spectacular location was the exceptional service and food. I had the special of the night which was amazing and delicious. I am located in Noord so a little drive to get to the restaurant but worth every minute. I would definitely revisit this restaurant and would highly recommend it as beautiful spot for that special evening. Thank you!

This was our second time to Marandi but the first in their new location. It’s tucked behind the airport just follow the signs. Scenery is very nice to watch the sunset. For apps I had the goat cheese salad. It was nicely presented and very flavorful. My wife had the ahi tuna. This appetizer is worth the trip alone. The tuna is marinated 24 hours in a pepper sauce (yummy). Same app she had the 1st time we dinner here 4 years ago. If you like seared tuna do not hesitate to order it. I had the special (grouper topped with salmon) presentation was nice but lacked flavor. My wife had the tuna filet. The presentation was nice. The flavor was better than my dish. Her tuna came with 2 6/7 oz. filets. Too much for her, so I finished the second filet. Would go back for the sunset and ahi tuna for sure...

We were impressed by the atmosphere, cleanliness and wait service, but not by the food. A previous review used the word mediocre and I completely agree. Two members of our party ordered the rib eye cooked medium and both came back almost raw! Meanwhile, the remaining three of us ate average food. Barely got an apology, no offer of even a free drink for them or 10% off the bill - nothing! Non-smoker warning: They have smoking bar and the night we dined there, it was full, cigars included. Would not go back.

After reading the reviews here and dining at Que Pasa (Marandi's very good, casual, downtown sister restaurant), we were excited for our dinner at Marandi. Unfortunately, our experience fell way short of those expressed in other reviews. The food was mediocre and the presentation was on par with that of a Red Lobster. The view and service were very good, but this restaurant does not belong in the same conversation as Passions or some of the other sunset restaurants. The great atmosphere could not compensate for the underwhelming food.

Great place. Super food excellent location.
We both had the Grouper Fillet – excellent, it was complimented with a real good Riesling. The view at Mirandi is fabulous – best place to view the sunset.

Great food, great service, Denise, and reasonable prices. The view is to die for, and the only problem is that we only stayed three days in Aruba. My wife and I had not gone to Aruba in 20 years and now we hope to go back soon. Marandi is one of the top three reasons. Thank you! Diego García.-

Our family of 5 visited Marandi three times in 10 days and it was our favorite place on the island because of its' beautiful and romantic location, excellent food and service. We made sure to be there in time for the sunset and I would encourage others to do so. The place is a little difficult to find so don't give up. Just follow the signs. It is an open air restaurant so use some bug spray before you go. Our 18 year old granddaughter said she wanted to get married there; our 40 something daughter & son-in-law relived their favorite times in Senegal, West Africa and we had memories of our 25th anniversary trip to Tahiti. We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary on this trip and we all agreed a more romantic spot could not be found.

Our favorite restaurant of the entire trip! Glad we followed the General Aviation signs to find the place. The food was excellent and the service was even better. Not sure if the gentleman that came to our table was a manager or owner but he went out of his way to make our young daughters enjoy themselves by taking pictures by the steel drum and giving them bread to feed the fish. Great atmosphere but glad we asked the host for some OFF because the bugs were biting...highly recommend!
