We were very happy with this restaurant. It is a small place and it was not very busy when we went. However the food was great, the service was good and the owner is there to make sure everyone is happy. We will definately eat here again. it was a nice relaxing very casual dinner.

My wife and I were surprised to discover there was a Thai place in the area, so we had to try it out. Our verdict? it was ok. It seemed to take a while for our food to be served (though it could just be that we're from NY), but overall no complaints on service. I ordered the green curry with beef, and it was pretty good. pretty spicy and nice flavor. The wife ordered the Pad Thai, and that was lacking. It was really dry, and a little bland in taste, definitely not what we're used to here in NYC. On a positive note, the serving was HUGE! we took most of it back and ate it later (well, i did, i eat anything!).

Overall it was ok, and a welcome change of pace from the other caribbean/seafood in the area.

We were very impressed with both the quality of food and excellent service. having been to many different Thai restaurants, I find that each one puts it's own "twist" on a recipe. Everything we had exceeded our expectations and were delicious. The pad thai & drunken chicken were nicely spiced, and then I added more with extra spices provided. The portions are large. Will definitely return.

Sawasdee is one of the few restaurants in Aruba with ample vegetarian options. My husband and I are both vegan and we had a hard time finding food options in Aruba. At Sawasdee we ordered the mock duck satay, the best we've ever had! The tofu was not as great (a little tough and stale.) The service was excellent! We'll definitely return on Sawasdee on our next trip to Aruba!

Excellent! What else can we say?

The best Thai food w'have ever eaten. The flavors are unique fresh, out of the garden from the owners.

You must order the rice-table, DELICIOUS!

Try a Mekhong drink after your dinner.

Sawasdee, we will come back for sure!

We stopped into Sawasdee after buying basics at the convenience store next door. It was our first day in Aruba so we didn't have any dinner plans that night. After checking out the menu we decided to give it a try. What a pleasant surprise. The Masaman Chicken was absolutely delicious and so was the shrimp Pad Tai. The owners of the restaurant came to our table a few times to see how we liked our meals and offered extra spice in case we wanted to "kick it up a notch". We enjoy Thai food in the NYC area, and this place was right up there with the best. Beside the good food, the price was right too! If you like Thai food, add this to your list of restaurants when you visit the island.

We got take out from Sawasdee based on the reviews we saw on this site and were very impressed. The Tai spring rolls, chicken satay and udon noodles were outstanding. The owners were very nice as we conversed with them while waiting for our order.

We'll definitely go back on our next visit.
