We ate dinner here on our New Years vacation. We cannot say enough about the flavor profiles of the appetizers, salads and main dishes. Simply awesome, if only we had enough room for dessert. The presentation and service sealed the deal. Wish we had made reservations sooner and more often. They fill up early so make reservations well in advance. If you miss this restaurant, you will miss one of the best experiences the island has to offer.

been to Aruba four times now, and have ate at numerous places all over island, and I have to say this is one of the best, if not the best dining experience we have had. World Class food!

One of our goals on this years vacation was to venture out and find good local restaurants. We found a jem at the Yemanja Woodfire Grill.
Servers were pleasant. Had a bit of a wait for dinner, but it was worth it. The Skirt Steak special was exceptional along with the Broiled Scallops, and Mahi Mahi entrees.
The family style side dishes worked well for all 4 of us. Talk about saving the best for last, the sampler dessert had a little bit of everything and all were delicious. The presentation was artistic.
The restaurant, cooking areas and ladies room were very clean. Woman owned of course! See you next year!

This restaurant is way overrated.
The portions are very small and overpriced. We were seated inside(air conditioning), but it was too warm inside. I am a local here and thrust me there are far more better restaurants on the island.

We celebrated our 44th anniversary with our son and his family including a 3 1/2 and 1 year old. The food was fantastic and the best on the island. Wish we had eaten here sooner. They gave us a lovely room inside the restaurant with a bit of privacy. The service was a bit slow, but well worth the wait. The waitress was accommodating even giving the young one a coloring book!! We had the steak, shrimp, rack of lamb, tuna tartare...all delicious. We're New Yorkers and we know our food. The desserts were yummy and the sparkler on top made it a festive event. We'll return the next time we're in town.

It had been a few years since we were here because of an average dinner at that time. We were staying at the Renaissance and had a gift certificate this year. I must say were were pleasantly surprised. Although we did not have an appetizer or dessert, the entree was plenty.
This time we tried their seafood entrees and both were excellent. The grouper fillet filled with bousin cheese was very good, as well as the Brazilian Moqueca Trio-Mahi, grouper, and shrimp.
It was still sort of warm sitting indoors (little breeze outside), and service was good. Would definitely go back.

Yemanja is truly a hidden gem. We loved this place so much we traded a 2nd trip to Madame Janette in order to dine here a 2nd time. The food was phenomenal...the shrimp puff pastry, the scallop salad, the moqueca trio and both grouper dishes were to die for. Appetizer & entree portions did not leave you wanting, and you also get four side dishes to share. Desserts were out of the ordinary and simply delicious - also large and inexpensive. Although off the main road (downtown), the restaurant is easy to find and the food and drinks are priced fairly. The hostess was friendly and accomodating and our waitresses were attentive and efficient on both visits. While the patio view was not spectacular, it was bright, festive and well-lit, & we had plenty of other opportunities to dine with spectacular views while on Aruba. You are paying for the wonderful food here, not the atmosphere (although it was hardly shabby)and you can always dine indoors if you choose. We plan to recommend this restaurant any chance we get.
