Had an awesome meal here tonight. My wife and I both had the seafood explosion which was shrimp, scallops, mussels, calamari and fish( mahi mahi), served in a cream sauce over linguine. It was awesome! My daughter had the lasagna and I had to say with the Gouda cheese it was fantastic. My son had the scampi stuffed grouper and it was also very good. We knew it was good but considering the similar priced options, they far exceeded our expectations. Service was the best I have seen in Aruba in the last 5+years.

Tried Scala on the recommendation of a family member. They were right. Scala was fantastic. We ate on the second floor terrace overlooking the street below. Between people watching and eating the wonderfully prepared food, we were very satisfied. I had the crab cake which was great. The shimp stuffed grouper was even better. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will return.

This restaurant is FANTASTIC. Great food and reasonably priced (even in Aruba). We ate outside last Wednesday and had great service from start to finish. You also get a nice view overlooking the water show if you eat outside. Our food ranged from burgers to fish and was outstanding. I NEVER had to ask for more water and our waitress was a delight. So much better than over-hyped places on Aruba.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident. It was early in the evening (5 pm) and they had just opened for the night. From the time we walked up to their door until the moment we left, everything was outstanding!!! The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food and drinks, from the first course to the last, were very delicious. The experience was so great, we came back two more times before leaving the island. The Scala Martini, French Onion Soup, Greek Salad, Grouper, Salmon, and desserts were heavenly.

It was our first time in Aruba--like other posters we were walking the area looking for something different. Decided to walk to the mall to see what is offered there.
Scala-- offering an early bird special--seat by 7pm for 25.pp gave us soup, salad, entree and dessert.
We both had onion soup and it was the best we had--it had a creamier texture more white then brown-- so it was not made with a beef broth. I had caeser salad- he had a house salad. I had shrimp fetticini he had a filet that could be cut with a feather- Cheese cake was the dessert. Soda for drinks.
Service was great- not intrusive- water was filled when needed. service personal showed up when needed.
We sat inside coz it was too hot outside- our table saw by a window looking towards the beach at PlayaLinda and the sunset WAS amazing. I wish Scala would have a webpage. I will go again

We happened on this place by accident we were walking past the hotels just looking for a different place to eat. How fortunate we were to choose Scala. The food was fresh. We had the blooming onion, pasta with beef tips and chicken piccante. The cocktails were good and not short on liquer. The price for two of us was less than $100 which for the quality and the service was such a suprise. It is a shame this place is not easy to find on this website as I am sure if it were a little more advertised would soon rise as one of the main places to eat in Aruba.
We even had music.... an excellent job guys keep up the good work. We will be back next year.

Just back from aruba and tried this restaurant. The food was very good. I had the crab cakes which were excellent. I had fettuccine with broccoli and tenderloin which was very good. Big portions. I would certainly go again. We sat upstairs overlooking the music. Everyone should give it a try.

We were looking for something that would not break the bank but, of course, good food. It seems everything in aruba is $25-$30 per entree, so its just a matter of finding the decent food. Scala will not disappoint. The food was very good, the atmosphere was excellent, we sat outside and live music was being played. Our service was very good. We ordered the stuffed grouper (excellent), chicken salad (ok), spicy grilled shrimp (very good) and filet steak (excellent, best of our entrees) we got out for $150 us. 2 adults, 2 older teens. kids loved it. included 4 glasses of wine. hope this helps, have fun.
