I'm disabled but making it up the stairs was so very worth it. All four of us now consider Cooks our favorite rest. We come to Aruba twice a year - we'll be there at every visit. We're bringing several others with us this year. What a wonderful surprise.

Got very lucky the night we went. They had an all-you-can-eat buffet on. Priced very reasonably, including wine (which was drinkable but left stinging hangover next morning; that's what you get when it's an all you can eat/drink; serves me right). Ribs were fantastic. Other meats were ok. Salad bar pass-able.
Had a look at the a la carte menu and prices looked a bit scary.

What a fantastic place. On the 2nd floor right off Main Street. You don't know quite what to expect when walking up the stairs. Wow, what a surprise. Wonderfully decorated. Rack of Lamb with goat cheese was out of this world. Done perfectly.

What a pleasant surprise! Just a block past El Goucho. What a great find. Great food and great value with super service to boot! The total package. A must every year from now on. Give this one a try. You will not be disappointed.

Five of us went to cooks Aug 3, 2008.
The food was very good and resonably priced.
The service was excellent. I had a full rack of ribs which was very big. I could not finish it all. But I did manage to finish my icecream for desert. My wife and Joanne had coconut shirmp and my son had a very good steak. My daughter-in-law Sue had a lobster that was a little dry but tasty. The resturant is on one of the side streets in town so I advise getting there by cab.
