If this is the last restaurant on the island, run don't walk away. In fact, jump in the water and swim to Venezuela for a better meal. On a very slow night the service was inattentive. Dim-Sum appetizer was uninspiring and the stir fry was starchy, flavorless and tasted like pasta water. When requesting extra sour cream for the fajitas which were satisfactory, we were charged $1.50 (USD) for a portion the size of a tablespoon. Our complaints were met with a shrug. Never again!!

Last year we ate at CL shortly after they opened and we were pleasantly surprised with how fresh and tasty the food was. This year it’s a different story. The food was okay, not great. Service was mediocre at best. We will not go out of our way to go back.

The Mexican/Asian fusion concept is a nice idea but, thre was room to do this a little better. The menu has Mexican dishes and Asian dishes. It would have been nice to see dishes that were a fusion of both cultures. I did ask the chef to make me a sushi fusion and I created a veggie sushi that included plantains. The chef was willing to be creative and it was quite that night so, I gave him some ideas. My wife had a Mexican dish and it tasted like a typical Mexican dish you'd get a a Mexican chain restaurant. I had an Asian dish featuring a peanut sauce and a typical Thai restaurant makes a better peanut sauce. I'd say this restaurant is worth a try. The prices are very fair.

Ate at this restaurant last night which was the last night of our 12 day stay in Aruba. It was definately the worst food we had in the entire trip. My wife ordered the dim sum appetizer which turned out to be overfried whatever cooked from frozen. So brittle she could not eat it let alone tell what it was. I ordered the Won Ton soup which really was a combination of beef broth with vegetables and flat noodles. No stuffed won tons and did not resemble anything I had ever seen before. We both ordered Make your own WOk, mine was beef and the sauce was so salty I did not eat any of it and the other was chicken done Tai style which was somewhat better. Needless to say we were not happy and complained to the waiitress who was sympathetic and offered to make another dish which I refused. We paid the full bill and left very disappointed.

Mon 06/22 – Chino Latino
Wife & I both had make-your-own wok (me - beef, wife - shrimp). Service very slow, although not crowded
Drinks OK. Portions were large – Wife couldn’t finish. It was OK – not great. Not sure if we’ll give it another try.

This is definitely the place to go if you're looking for something other than the usual fish and steak restaurants. Casual, friendly atmosphere and a menu with an Asian/Latin flair with affordable prices. I had the "Create your own wok" and went with the Thai style with a chicken/steak combo. It was large enough to share (you'll definitely have leftovers) so next time I think we'd be better off splitting an appetizer and splitting an entree so we could try more things.

We overheard a couple on the beach talk about this ChinoLatino place during our stay in Aruba at the Marriot.. The kept ranting and raving about it so we ended up going the following night!
Thank you soo much for the recomendation, we had the best food and the place is just gorgeous.. If you do happen to make it i would recomend trying the \" Create your own Wok\" They are only $12 .. Finally a restaurant in Aruba that actually keeps in mind that its no just about charging the big bucks to us tourists!! Thanks once again to the couple on the beach!! WE LOVE YOU !!!!
