We have been visiting ARUBA for over a decade and have always heard stories of MARINA PIRATA and looked forward to going there this year (in February) and we were not disappointed at all. MARINA PIRATA is the grandfather of all those copycat sit by the sea and watch the sunset restaurants. It has a legacy of over 25 years and you don't stay in business for that long unless you are doing something right and MARINA PIRATA definitely is doing everything well and right. It was a pleasure eating there, the food was very good, the ambience and setting great, and the prices were modest. Staff goes out of their way to accommodate you and, if you are lucky enough to strike up a conversation with the owner, you are in for a truly unique experience. Nobody gets a perfect 10 from me, but MARINA PIRATA is definitely worthy of one.

Friends recommended this place. Would have to say thanks to them. This was the highlight of all our meals. What a beautiful setting. Went at sunset and was not disappointed. The service came from all directions ensuring a great evening. The food??? Unbelievable! The grouper filets were to die for. Will be the first stop when we come back.

We eat at Marina Pirata every year and this year we had the thrill of introducing our best friends to this great restaurant. We actually ate so much fish for our two weeks on the Island I have forgotten what we ate where but I know it was terrific at MP. The sunset was spectacular and the guys loved feeding the fish. It is certainly worth the taxi ride.

What a wonderful rest. We've been several times. Every visit has been a delight. Sheila has been our waitress several times. What a jewel she is. The food is great- the atmosphere can't be beat. We'll be back in the spring- I can't wait.

Ordered the catch of the day and had it prepared Arubian style. My wife ordered the catch of the day prepared in a creole sauce with rice. The food was fantastic and the view was beautiful in the late evening with the lights shinny on the ocean.
Service was great just hope your waiter will be as good as the one we had. His name is Gerald, if I owned a restaurant I would hire him in a minute.

Prices were very reasonable even ordered a bottle of Cab. for $18.00 dollars. What a bargain at a great restaurant.
So venture out to this place is just past the Balachi Beer Co. than follow the signs.
Will make sure I visit this place again

My wife and I had dinner here on the 1st of September after seeing some pretty good reviews.
We sat right on this large deck that they have right in the water and after dark you can see the fish in the water which was real cool.
We both had the catch of the day cooked in different ways, it was barracuda that day and it was delicious. It's a steaky fish kind of like swordfish, but the flavor is outstanding.
Great service, great atmosphere, very romantic and the total was about $80 for both of us with about 5 drinks each.
We're going back next year definitely

We went here last week based on a recommendation from a cab driver. We really knew nothing about the restaurant but thought we would give it a shot. Are we glad we did! There were 10 of us and everyone was completely satisfied. The menu is overwhelmingly fish. What is caught that day is what is on the menu. Everyone raved about there meal. Get there for the sunset. It is beautiful. The value is unbelievable!! Prices are beyond reasonable. We felt we found a real hidden gem.

We had skipped this restaurant for the past few years, only because it is in Savaneta and a bit out of the way. This year we were thrilled that we returned. This little known waterside restaurant is a gem. Fresh fish at reasonable prices, in my mind, this is not only one of the best values on the island, but a secret the locals keep to themselves. Your kids will love you for taking them there as well. At night the water is lit and the fish come to the top looking for scraps. Free entertainment while you are waiting for your food to cook. They also have selections for children who do not like fish.

I have been on Aruba several months. One of the restaurants I have visited is Marina Pirata - 4 times. The food has always met expectations and the atmosphere is great. I enjoy the experience of on water dining. I have always had a fish dish and never been disappointed. The fried bread is superb
