We’ve been coming to Chalet Suisse for about 5 years. I was never thrilled with the food but everyone in our group enjoys the restaurant. Nothing has improved in fact the service has gone downhill. There’s more and more competition in the area and Chalet needs to step up their game. There’s nothing extraordinary. If you’re looking for a pricey, average restaurant then you’ll be pleased.

On my fifth trip to Aruba and my first visit to Chalet Suisse I think I found a hidden treasure. Our server Humphrey was great. He did everything possible to make our dining experience special. Even my six year old son had a great time with all the servers making sure his meal was special. I will definitely return on my next visit

We make sure we eat at the Chalet Suisse each year when we vacation in Aruba. We ate there again this evening and the food and service were great again. We were served by Humphrey this evening and again received the excellent service we've come to expect at the Chalet Suisse.

Dinner was delicious, service by Humphrey and his staff was excellent. Red snapper and sirloin steaks could not have been better. Best dinner on our vacation. Thank you!

This was my favorite restaurant during our week-long stay in Aruba. It was a little more elegant than the other restaurants, yet we felt comfortable in casual dress. Our waiter, Humphrey was especially helpful, and overhearing me saying I was debating over 2 entrees, told me to "go for the grouper". He did not mislead me. It was almond crusted and tasted like they caught it an hour before. Of the 3 grouper dinners I had, this was the best. My husband had the duck which was also excellent. Our dessert, apple strudel, was delicious.

Great service for our party of 8. Food was good and piping hot! Humphrey our main waiter was excellent as well as our wine server. Seemed like we had 3 or 4 servers for our table. Kind of an old fashioned feel for the restaurant but that is part of its charm. Ask to get a table in the front where the windows are....that's the view of the water across the street.

This was by far our best meal the entire time we were in Aruba. We did eat at several of the other "top" restaurants, but the food and the service hear was far superior than the other. Humphrey was our waiter, but it seemed like he had an army of 8 others helping us. There was never an empty water glass or need to ask for more bread as they were always there for this! We have two children (6 & 4) and the kids menu was very good and they were very prompt in bringing out the kids meals. I would highly recommend this restaurant!!! We only wish that they had outdoor seating, but the food and service more than made up for this!!!!

There were 4 of us that ate here. The food was the best we had our entire stay. We also ate at Simply Fish, Madame Jeanette's, Wacky Wahoo, Acqua Grill, Sole Mare and Screaming Eagle. The atmosphere is quaint, but not as nice as eating on the beach. The service was very slow and had to often find/call our waiter for our food. I would eat here again, but make sure it was not a busy time.
