One of the best view restaurants on the island. You get a unique view of the California lighthouse and the north shore of the beach. We went right at sunset and got the most amazing pictures, sit outside and enjoy the very comfy chairs. Our waiter was very nice and polite, the food was pretty good. A little tip is that Ventanas del Mar has an early bird special. From 5-7, you can get either the 3 course fixed price meal everyday except Wed. and Surf and turf special (prawns and petite fillet) Wed. Only for approx $32 dollar. Combine that with a coupon in one of the tourist books for a free glass of wine. I ordered the surf and turf special, and my wife ordered the deconstructed seafood lasagna. All of which had great presentation and flavor. Would definitely recommend

During our holiday we've visited the restaurant twice. Once for our honeymoon diner, in full atire, and twice, just to relive the experience once more! We were positively surprised by the skills of chef Jim, innovative combinations of flavors, and overall quality of the food (of which some ingredients may have been hard to come by ). Unlike other haute-cuisine restaurants, the portions were also quite large. Topped with a great view on the northern side of the island, both visits were absolutely worthwile, we had a amazing time. Undertake the journey to the California Lighhouse district, (less then 5 min by taxi from the Highrise area), and be overwhelmed.

This place was gorgeous, we went right at sunset and got the most amazing pictures, sit outside and enjoy the very comfy chairs, was not very crowded at all either, our waiter was very nice and polite, the food was pretty good, not the best I had on the island, but good, definitely worth going for the amazing grounds.

I was very disappointed this year...we have been to this restaurant every year for the past 4 years. We ordered the special surf & turf (filet & lobster). The filet seemed like an inferior cut of meat & the lobster was dried out. The corn & crab chowder was very good. The prices for a bottle of wine were very high. Will not return for a 5th time.

Beautiful. The view, the sea, the surrounding golf course. Amazing. The service was ok, but with only another couple of guests around it shouldn’t have been different. Some main courses are for my taste slightly overpriced the wines for sure. Desserts were nice. We’ll be back.

This is a great location with a beautiful view over the golf course with the Caribbean Sea in the background. My husband played there a couple of days earlier and made a reservation right away. We went early for the sunset which was nice but were attacked by mosquitoes afterwards. Unfortunately we were pretty alone. The food was good, the wine list as well though maybe a little overpriced.

We had read some good reviews about this restaurant and wanted to try it. The Chef knows just how to mix the spices for great sauces. Wonderful blend of spices in the escargot sauce and tender meat. My husband had caesar salad and ribeye; he even ate the vegetables. I had the grouper with shrimp special with sweet and sour and a butter sauce. It was delicious with no single overwhelming flavor. We will definitely return (probably this visit even). Service was attentive. It's off the main strip but an easy cab ride if you don't have a car.
