I agree with another reviewer - go for lunch, get an appitizer and water, get your pictures and leave.
We went for dinner and sat on the covered porch. Ants & flys everywhere. Food was not worth the price, lasagna was mushy (overcooked), chicken parm was small. Waitstaff not friendly until it was time to tip.
We won't be going back.

The view is the most incredible sight. What a delight to dine outside and look at that view.
We found the food wonderful, enjoyed by all.
The service was excellent.
I would recommend this restaurant and will return next year.

The view is spectacular! This was our first time to the restaurant and we had an enjoyable lunch there. We were hoping to return for dinner, but didn't make it - that will be something to do next year. The dinner menu is fabulous and, if it is done as well as lunch, then this place would clearly join Hostaria Da Vittorio as one of the better Italian dining places in ARUBA. In our opinion, the view in incomparable - there is nothing like it on the Island - even if you don't want to eat, go out some evening for a spectacular sunset.

Overall the food and service was disapointing and over priced. The only value he is the view which is breath taking, so I would recommend that you arrive for a cocktail and have dinner somewhere else.

This was a very poor dinner indeed. We've been many times before on previous holidays and it was always very nice. This year was very different. Ordered lasagne - it was cold and nothing but pasta and cheese. In short, expensive, sub-standard food, inattentive service.
Location is stunning and I think it's easy to focus on this and forget about the food and service. In future we will go up there for the view and then go to another restaurant for a meal, probably Moby Dick's as this restaurant was beautiful, as were many others.

We had a ok dinner here. The view is spectacular, and our server was quite nice. There was nothing wrong with any of our appetizers or entrees, but they were not as good as other restaurants we dined at on the island. Worth a try, but I would make it a lunch destination.

My wife and I have made a point of celebrating our last three anniversaries at La Trattoria. We love the food and especially eating outside on the deck and watching the most beautiful sunset. March 25th we will be there again and can not wait.
My wife even ordered a meal not on the menu and they did an excellent job.

Excellent. We had lunch once and dinner twice and they are by far the best. Maybe $1 more but who would not pay this for excellent italian food, nice service and the most amazing views of the ocean, aruba, sunset, golf course ... just amazing. Would recommend Faro Blanco 100%. They also have a $ 48 menu which is perfect value as it is a 3 course plus a drink. For us they should be the number 1.

Quite honestly, I don't know how this restaurant is not in the top 5 on the island. The food and drinks were incredible and the atmosphere could not have been more perfect. We got there right before sunset on Jan. 6th and had a drink while watching the sun set. We ate dinner after and I liked how they did not rush you through dinner. I ordered from the special menu which includes an appetizer, meal, dessert and a glass of wine which came to $48. My husband ordered veal and was not thrilled, but he loved my meal and he loved the appetizers and dessert. Can't wait to go back for our anniversary next year!
