Amuse Sunset Restaurant
Amuse Sunset Restaurant Aruba, the former Amuse Bistro was opened in 2010. We were located in the Playa Linda Beach Resort in Hotel Area but moved behind the airport since July 2016. This new location used to be Aruba Ville / Marandi and has a spectacular, most romantic sunset view by itself is worth the drive.

Amuse Sunset Restaurant Aruba serves international cuisine prepared with only the freshest and finest ingredients. From International classics done with an Aruban flair, to unique gourmet creations.

There is no rush. Sit back and enjoy a glass of wine paired with each of your plates. Allow our friendly and attentive staff to make your visit an enjoyable experience, no matter the occasion. Amuse Sunset Restaurant Aruba is the place where your taste buds will be delighted.

Very enjoyable evening

The food was great and the staff was very friendly and fun to talk to. Rack of Lamb and the Duck Breast salad are definitely worth trying. Nice selection of steak and seafood combinations are available.

Beautiful evening at Amuse

We have been coming to Marandi's for years. That is where we thought we were headed until we got onto the back streets and saw the signs for Amuse. Nothing had changed and I actually think it was better. Jesus, our server was pleasant and knowledgeable. The owner was present and we got a lesson on feeding the baby tarpon which surround the dining area in the water. The food was prepared perfectly and the presentation was phenomenal. The pricing was also reasonable. You can't beat the scenery and watching the sunset was worth the trip. We were also entertained by local water skiers who performed right out in front of us. Although a little hard to find, it is well worth the trip.

Great Place!

This is one of those little special places you might not expect to be as good as it is. The food here is terrific and is a regular stop for us. It doesn't have the benefit of a beach view but it makes up for it with a great staff and great food. The chef is very creative and the quality is outstanding. Give it a try.

warning for european clients, the creditcard machine of this restaurant cannot read the chips as commonly used since many years on all european creditcards, it can only read the old-fashioned magnetic strips which many times get damaged during the years and will not work

Ask for Jesus as your server!!

Jan 2, 2016 - posted by
We ate here twice during our week long vacation. We visited last year and really enjoyed it, and were not disappointed this visit! We came in on 12/27/15 and had Jesus as our server. He was delightful, with a great sense of humor and very good knowledge of the menu! I have a food allergy and he had the chef customize my dinner (catch of the day) to cater to my needs...and it was outstanding!!

We returned on New Year's Eve, without a reservation, but were lucky enough to get the last table available! Even better? Jesus was our server again! As soon as he walked up he said he remembered us from our visit earlier in the week, and quoted the exact meal I had ordered and remembered my food allergy! How impressive!! I was interested in a cocktail, but wanted something a little different. I mentioned that I loved Cosmopolitans, and Jesus said he would have the bartender make me one with a little twist on it. He returned with my drink, and it was heaven!! They substituted out the regular vodka with orange vodka and it was so delicious that I am ashamed to say...I might have had several more! :)

There are a few simple niceties to this restaurant, like the house made rolls and gazpacho that start out each meal, to the house made dressings. Their chef seems to take pride in and enjoy what he does and it shows! In our two trips we have taken to Aruba, we have eaten here four times...and I guarantee we will return on our next visit!

the best

Amuse Bistro is just outside the Playa Linda resort. After 3 years, we returned specially driving up from Eagle Beach and were not disappointed. We were welcomed like family and quickly seated. A surprise gazpacho from the chef started our meal. Their wine list is expansive and the pours are generous. The special mahi mahi was delicious and the surf and turf shrimp and short rib was more than I could eat. Everything was delicious and served immpeccably. Skip all the franchise names and visit Amuse Bistro!

A very special restaurant

Amuse Bistro near Palm Beach is a very special french restaurant. We discovered it during our recent trip to Aruba in may. It was a very pleasant
experience for our demanding taste buds (we are a french/dutch couple). The food was exquisite and the service perfect. The design of the dishes was very original. A very nice quiet atmosphere and an excellent wine selection.
We highly recommend Amuse Bistro for a memorable dining experience.
A world-class restaurant on one happy island!

Complimentary Gazpacho to start, shared scallop appetizer, mahi mahi catch of the day that was moist and flaky, grouper which is always suburb here, coffee and creme brulee that is the best we have ever had.

Our rule in Aruba is follow the Chef and we have been dining with Chef Patrick since his days before opening Amuse. He had never disappointed.

Located in front of the Playa Linda.
