Madame Janette

We were here 2 years ago, and husband really dislike his steak, so we gave it a break and skipped last year. We did return this year, and were not disappointed. Started with a huge green salad (which was enough for 2!), and kids shared the tuna appetizer (which was beautifully presented and they loved it). I had the surf and turf (with the potatoes au gratin)...fantastic! Husband had a huge piece of beef which he enjoyed. Kids had the fish delight (mahi mahi or grouper served on huge salad). Everyone was very pleased. Nice ambiance too. Toilets were broken for a good part of the night, but were repaired by the time we left.

Our first time dining here. We will definitely return. This was our best dining experience on the isalnd. The food is outstanding but be warned-the portions are huge. The service and ambiance are very good.

Congratulations Chef Kasi and team at Mme Janette's you finally made it to the top of this list.....should have happened a long time ago....see you again in July!

We recently spent 2 weeks in Aruba and dined at Madame Janette's twice. We were seated outside, our favorite spot, and both times our waiter was Rudolph, an excellant waiter. Our meals were as expected, delicious. I love that they serve meals on heated plates. First night I had, of course, the Almond Encrusted Grouper over creamed spinach, and my husband had the Tornadoes of Beef, done to perfection. Our second time I had the Sirloin Steak and husband had the Rack of Lamb. Again, absolutely delicious. I would like to mention that we both love the garlic bread and garlic butter served at each table. Both times we had the Potatoes Au Gratin, a wonderful dish.
We have been to Aruba 7 times and we always make sure we dine at Madame Janette's to make our trip complete.

The Best food on the Island!
My wife and I shared an appetizer, ordered 2 main dishes, 2 deserts, and 2 meals for our kids and it was still cheaper than most of the other places we went to.
We ended up going there twice. Excellent food and service. Make sure you make reservation before you fly.

On our recent trip to Aruba we dined at Madame Janette's for the second time in 3 years. The first time we missed it - our loss. The food is beyond your wildest imaginings - so is the atmosphere and service. From being greeted at the door to saying good night your establishment is at the very top of the list. We reccomend your restaurant to all. No where else can you sit outside in such a lovely setting and be lavished with such delicious food and impeccable service. Hope to see you in the Fall of 2007

My husband were at this restaurant for dinner Sat., Dec. 2 for the first time. The reviews were better than the experience. The food was good--not great.

This was our second visit in as many years and once again we LOVED it! The food was spectacular (so many great choices), but my husband and I both opted for the surf and turf (plus shrimp) and everything was marvelous. Our daughter had the lobster ravioli as a main dish and we shared a giant caesar salad. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we are planning to revisit it on our last night on the island...and of course, next year as well!
