Passions on the Beach
A dinner at Passions on the Beach is far and away the most romantic and unique Aruba restaurant experience on the island. Dine with your feet in the soft white sand and the soothing sound of the gentle waves caressing the shore. Watch the breathtaking sunset on Eagle Beach while tiki-torches slowly light the night. The fresh cuisine varies from meat to freshly caught fish while the desserts offer an indulgent treat you won't forget.

Ahhhhhhh

May 6, 2013 - posted by
Upon arriving by taxi we were about 30 minutes early for our 7pm reservation. We were immediately seated at a front row table by a very friendly hostess. We were glad that we arrived early. Our waitress (Diana) was very pleasant and friendly and never rushed us. The sunset that night (April 23, 2012) was spectacular, especially the colors across the sky after the sunset. I enjoyed the presentation of our main course as it arrived. I love how our plates were covered with a silver cover & uncovered at the same time. We got a kick out of seeing a table of 6 being served their main course and the ahhhhhhh that come in unison as they uncovered their food. We ordered the encrusted grouper with coconut, delicious! We could not have had a more lovely dining experience... I will recommend to others. Thanks!

love this restaurant

We were very happy to have dinner on the beach again at Passions. We were here before, but the food, the service and the ambiance was even better than before. The quality/price ratio is perfect, not too expensive, very friendly, good food and especially a very nice atmosphere. We love the space between the tables and the privacy you get, if you compare this with other restaurants on the beach. Passions is our favorite beach dinner spot for sure.

Dinner

Outstanding view of a lovely sunset and a fantastic evening with my wonderful husband. We were presented with wonderful service, outstanding food and a very memorable evening. My husband never allows for extras and I am so thankful he allowed for champagne and also the final highlight of the evening with ordering desert. There are complaints of different magnitudes, however our experience was grand and would tell out family and friends to go Some people would complain if they won the lottery

Romance, Atmosphere, Great Food, What more ca

We finally tried Passions on our visit to Aruba this year. It was a special occasion, 25th anniversary for my brother & his wife. It was their first trip to Aruba.
We made reservations for 6:00 so that we could relax and watch the sunset. This place is so unique and wonderful!! On Eagle Beach. White linen tablecloths, covered chairs, tiki torches, gorgeous sunsets, waitresses and hostesses in bare feet. The ambiance is fantastic. The food is FABULOUS!! Our waitress, Diana, was more than happy to act as photographer, and you will want pictures, because the venue is so beautiful. Get dressed up! Have a marvelous meal! The filet is fantastic! The Carribbean lobster tails were moist and delicious! The steak au poivre wonderful! My husband loved his Mahi Mahi. After sunset, you'll notice that the menus are lit from within ... no squinting! After a dessert... there is guitar music coming from a guitarist seated by a well-positioned dance floor ON THE BEACH! My Brother & his Wife felt so very, very special, and my husband and I were so happy to be a part of this very special celebration. We've spent far more money for less value and far less ambiance at other spots in Aruba. This absolutely will NOT disappoint.

Great dinner with one potentially big complai

Apr 15, 2013 - posted by
Saved this dinner for the last night of our trip. The beach is beautiful and we had reservations right at sunset which is highly recommended. Everyone loved their dinner, only knock on my Seven Seas Parade dish was that the grouper was dry...I actually had a better piece of grouper at Champions Sports Bar earlier in the week, which given the prices at Passions is disappointing. The other items were all great though. Service is a bit slow, but probably no point to rushing a beach dining experience.

One big issue which thankfully happened before our food was served was that the porta-potties that are utilized by the restaurant were being drained by a big commercial cleaning truck during our dinner. The smell quickly found it's way to the dining area and multiple tables around us were commenting on it. Took about ten minutes before the smell dissipated. I can understand the porta-potty being the only option for the beach side restaurant, but it should be common sense to schedule cleaning any time except during dinner. Hate to spend a large piece of the review on this item because the dinner really was a great experience, but it had to be mentioned.

Passions' Perfection!

Our 30th Wedding Anniversary couldn't have been in better hands.

This is the only "perfect" restaurant review I have given. A quintessential example of excellence in all categories.

Thank you to Passions' staff for an exquisite Aruban fine-dining evening!

Great Experience

We stopped in Aruba while on a Cruise ship and planned to dine at Passions. We did not know what to expect, but we were totally taken in by the ambience, the food, the staff and the beautiful sunset. We even enjoyed having a rogue wave dampen our feet while dining. We consider this restaurant one of the highlights of our cruise stops.
