Passions on the Beach
A dinner at Passions on the Beach is far and away the most romantic and unique Aruba restaurant experience on the island. Dine with your feet in the soft white sand and the soothing sound of the gentle waves caressing the shore. Watch the breathtaking sunset on Eagle Beach while tiki-torches slowly light the night. The fresh cuisine varies from meat to freshly caught fish while the desserts offer an indulgent treat you won't forget.

My husband and I went here for our 5th anniversary dinner while in Aruba. The food was wonderful- we both had the filet. The atmosphere couldn't be better. Beautiful sunset!
The service was great. We will be back next time we are in Aruba!

It was absolutely, positively fabulous… the service and the atmosphere was amazing. Our server was friendly and courteous. She took time out of her busy night to take “many” sunset pictures for us. We will definitely be returning to Passion when we visit Aruba again.

Ended the week with dinner at Passions - glad we did as it was a last minute "replacement" choice. Fantastic atmosphere, great service (Willem - nice job!) and good-to-great food. ...and the dude playing the piano and singing topped it all off! He's a great complement to the rest of the experience!

Just go...it may be a little pricey but everything is on Aruba! Just go and enjoy yourself...it's well worth it!

Dined here on May 2, 2008 during our week long first anniversary, second honeymoon trip to Aruba. The food was excellent, the service was outstanding and the atmosphere was SO romantic. Don't miss it! Eating with your toes in the sand and the sun going down is just the best... The filet mignon was perfect and the hot shrimp also. The surprise dessert for lovers was delightful... The only negative was that the rest rooms are across the street at the resort! I think they could have rest rooms for customers only right there at the restaurant...

Dined here last week as part of our week-long anniversary celebration. This turned out to be the biggest disappointment of our week. The setting is very nice, right on Eagle Beach. However, the quality of the food just does not justify the high prices. The watermelon salad everyone raves about what just okay. My filet and shrimp dish was good, but certainly not great, and not up to the standards of some of the better restaurants on the island. My husband had one of the fish specials, and felt the same way about that. It also didn't help that it was the windiest I have ever seen it on the island, and the entire dinner was spent trying to keep glasses, bread baskets, etc., from flying off the table and into the surf. In summary...wind notwithstanding...the setting is lovely and the service is good. But in the end, it is the food that makes or breaks a restaurant, and the food here just is not that great.

Unfortunately, our experience was not good at Passions. The prices are high for what we received and the food was barely adequate. My baked potato was cold and did not taste freshly cooked. The second one arrived raw inside. Compared to other beach front restaurants, they do nothing to block the wind as do others. Not having a restroom on site and having to walk across two streets is also inconvenient. It was my 12th year to Aruba and I go to all of the good restaurants. I would never recommend this restaurant just because it's on the beach. There are others that are with great food and service!

Hi ~

I hope I am directing this email to the correct person. I am writing to express how much I enjoyed dining at your restaurant, Passions. The food and service especially that of manager, Diana were outstanding! I dined there Thursday night, April 24th with my boyfriend, Tim. He spoke with Diana when we arrived expressing his concern about the weather that evening. Diana's nice words made him decide to stay. At the bar she spoke with us about the restaurant. She was extremely personable and genuine. She accommodated us in every way, sitting us close to a palapa in case the skies decided to open up. We took her up on two of her dinner recommendations - the watermelon salad and the seafood soup. They were both out of this world!! My dinner, the hot shrimp, was absolutely the BEST! My boyfriend's filet mignon was cooked to perfection. It was the best meal we had our whole vacation!!! Even my boyfriend's white rice was exceptional! Diana was soooooo nice to us!! She took the time to stop by during dinner to make sure everything was okay. She even got me a cd of the person singing that night. She stopped by again to thank us for coming and to say good night! In terms of service she went above and beyond!! She is truly an asset to you team! We are so glad we took a chance that evening. Dining at Passions turned out to be the highlight of our vacation! Thanks Diana and the Passions staff! You're #1 in our book!

First Class all the way! Diane and her staff couldn't be more attentive.
One of the girls dined at Passions the week before with her boyfriend and she came back the second week with the girls.Excellent food, couldn't ask for better ambiance... the gorgeous sunset,
the glowing torches, crisp white table and chair covers. Sound-alike Louie Armstrong on the piano and of course, the "Sparkling Dessert". We have told all our friends who travel to Aruba-don't miss Passions.

My girlfriend and I went to Passions for dinner on 4/18; 6:00 reservations just in time to see the beautiful sunset. The presentation was unreal, seating not twenty feet away from high tide crashing on the shore. Our server was great, he was overworked due to the high volume of people working but was running around like a madman to make sure we had everything we needed. This was in stark contrast to some of the reviews I have read on here prior to going, which worried me somewhat. No worries though, the service was great. There was a gentleman serenading with a variety of songs, very tastefully done and relaxing in tune with the waves. I had the rock lobster, which was excellent; she had the filet, which she said was excellent. For appetizers we enjoyed the watermelon salad - served very coolly in a hollowed out watermelon - and the seafood soup, which was great. For dessert, the mango mousse, which was the best dessert we enjoyed during our stay. It is great food at a reasonable price with an unbelievable atmosphere, very romantic - there were several couples dancing during the course of the meal. A great place to go!
