Passions on the Beach
A dinner at Passions on the Beach is far and away the most romantic and unique Aruba restaurant experience on the island. Dine with your feet in the soft white sand and the soothing sound of the gentle waves caressing the shore. Watch the breathtaking sunset on Eagle Beach while tiki-torches slowly light the night. The fresh cuisine varies from meat to freshly caught fish while the desserts offer an indulgent treat you won't forget.

Christmas Eve on the Beach

Jan 2, 2013 - posted by
My family and I had dinner at Passions on Christmas Eve 2012. My wife and I and our 2 sons thoroughly enjoyed our first-ever dinner on the beach. I immediately removed my shoes and put my feet in the sand while we ordered wine and appetizers. You couldn't help but be impressed with the setting - tables surf-side with a lovely sea breeze. Everything we ordered was terrific and our server was very attentive. It will be a meal to remember - Christmas Eve dinner in a setting that can't be beat. Whether looking for a romantic dinner or, as in our case, a nice family dinner Pasions on the BEach can't be beat !

I must be missing something

I must say that I am confused over the high ratings of this restaurant.
We came with a reservation. The host said that he did not have our reservation even though I had a printed copy of the confirmation.
Things went downhill from there. The servers were in a hurry to get us in and out and served our appetizers and salads and entrees in a "piggy back style" where we didn't have time to try to enjoy our dinner. If a restaurant wants to close early then don't take a later reservation.

The food was cold and had to be sent back and they were out of desserts.

I am just confused as to how this place is in the top 10 with places like Chalet Suisse, Barefoot, Mirandi, Sole Mare and other great restaurants on the island.

My advise, skip this restaurant.

Passions

Dec 3, 2012 - posted by
My wife Anne and I visited Passions in November of 2012 and had a truly wonderful experience. The food was excellent, the service exceptional and what more could you ask for then to be sitting on the beach on a beautiful evening. We liked it so much that the following week we had guests who had never been to Aruba join us and they said it was their favorite dining experience on the island.
Again the food, service, atmosphere and even the cocktails exceeded our expectations. On our second visit there in a week we also pleasantly surprised that there was a very talented saxaphone player who also added to the experience and made the night even more enjoyable.
I recommended Passions to a couple of newlyweds and received e-mails from them thanking me for this recommendation.

Passions is on our list of restaurants when we return to Aruba for sure.

A Fabulous Dinner Environment

This was our first time in Aruba. We were there the during Thanksgiving. This restaurant was on the top of everybodys list. And yes everybody had a list of recommendations. We made reservations online and it was easy. The night was perfect. Everything was great. Our server a sweet girl Naomi (which I am sure I am butchering her name)was amazing. Very personable but not overbearing. Knew what I wanted before I asked. The food was delicious and the ambience of the beach was amazing. The neat LCD menus wre like perfect in every way. This will be on the top of my recommendation list when somebody asks. Thank you Passions on the Beach.

Everything was amazing. This was our favorite restaurant during our visit. If you are going to Aruba make sure you have dinner here at least one night. The food, service, and scenery are outstanding.

Wonderful Anniversary

Nov 27, 2012 - posted by
We celebrated our 32nd Anniversary on Nov. 15 at Passions. The staff was friendly and our server was excellent. I don't recall his name, but he was a delightful young man. We had the spring rolls for an appetizer, I had the Perfect Match (mahi mahi), and my husband had a special stuffed grouper. Everything was delicious. Watching the sunset was romantic and relaxing. The overall experience was great and I would certainly return to Passions on our next trip to Aruba.

First time

My wife and I and another couple recently dined at Passions. Both couples have visited Aruba numerous times but it was our first time at Passions. Our experience was fantastic. Our waitress, Diana Polo, could not have been sweeter. The food was excellent and the atmosphere can't be beat. We had a gorgeous sunset and we will definitely return on our next trip.

Passionate about Passions

Subject: Re: Passions on the beach feedback

Marc,
How could we not be pleased with Passions?
Your staff was EXCELLENT and the setting magnificent.
We had a cocktail at the bar before being seated (we were early).
My fiance and I returned for our 4th time and this year brought along my daughter-in-law and her family (including their 2 young girls). Everyone enjoyed the uniqueness of the entire experience. My daughter-in-law said, "This is the most romantic setting I've ever been in." The food was terrific - well prepared, nicely presented, and more than ample. The staff was friendly and attentive all the way through the meal and dessert.
We loved it and will return the next time we are in Aruba.
And, I have spread the word by recommending Passions to friends.
If you have anyone leave Passions and they are unhappy, I'd suggest they need to adjust their attitude.
