Windows on Aruba

A beautiful experience. No complaints. Excellent all around. What a view- overlooking the golf course and the sea! We loved this restaurant.

Eating at Windows on Aruba is a highlight when we visit Aruba. The food is absolutely delicious.What a presentation when the food is delivered to your table! The atmoshpere is elegant, yet comfortable. The waitstaff is knowledgeable and efficient. Our many thanks to "Sonja" and the entire staff at Windows for 2 very enjoyable evenings.

We are always looking for a great new so on our March trip we tried Windows on Aruba. First of all the restaurant was so cold the manager was bringing out jackets for the table next to us. I ordered hot tea just to warm up.

The food and service were not much better. I order the Chicken dish without the sauce and it was served with the sauce. Our server never returned to our table during dinner so I did not send my dinnner back. When we asked for a dessert menu, she laid the menu on the table and returned 15 minutes later.

The restaurant is beautiful. The food, service and temperature did not measure up.

We had a wonderful evening at Windows during our recent trip to Aruba. Our host made sure we had a wonderful evening while we celebrated an anniversary. The menu selections were outstanding and the service was excellent. The entire experience was exceelent and we highly recommend Winodws on Aruba.

I do not understand the hype on this over rated restaurant. I have tried this restaurant twice the first time in 2009 and this year in feb. The first time I was there my strip steak was not tender or flavourfull my server couldnt care less and the women who was in charge, I told when we left was not interested in my commment This year my wifes grouper was dry and my scallops were overcooked. It seems to me the reviews this place gets are based on the decor and the view .

We love this restaurant and always enjoy having on our list as "must dos" while in Aruba. Our meal was wonderful as was our table. If you order soup as an appetizer they are huge and very filling. We generally will share a soup. However, the service that night, while very unusual, was not that great.
We were greeted by a very nice young and new waiter who appeared very pleasant. Throughout our evening, we noticed that he was absent quite a bit and the usual attentive service was just not right. Having been to this restuarant so many times, we knew this is not the typical service. I sent off an email the next morning explaining what had happened. The explaination we got was reasonable but what I found odd was that I think an offer for a "free dessert" on our next visit would have been in order as a gesture of goodwill.
Anyway, we still love Windows and think this is truly one of Aruba's finest and look forward to coming back next year!

We hen we arrived we were greeted nicely and were shown to a window side table, as requested. We sat by the windows at night and the view is absolutely stunning. The service was outstanding in all aspects from drinks, to dinner and dessert and cleaning the table. It was all timely and done to perfection. Then we have the food. My wife ordered off the menu and both our meals were excellent. The presentation, flavor, and the whole experiece of the food was the best on the island. We have been before and will be there again, hopefully more often.

On March 23 2011, I attended "Windows on Aruba" to celebrate my 26th Wedding Anniversary. The entire evening was a outstanding experience, from being greeted by the establishment's very gracious Hostess "Sonja", to being served by our fabulous waiter "Walter". The staff was extremely professional and truly dedicated to ensuring that our dinning experience and anniversary was one to always remember. This was the second time that I had eaten at "Windows on Aruba". I know each and every time I visit Aruba, I will have my reservations set to eat the best cuisine the Island has to offer. It is a must, SEE & EAT!!!

We were in Aruba during the second week of March, 2011. we heard about this restaurant on this web site and decided to to try it, that was the best thing we did. The food was great, service was awesome the view was spectacular. we loved the place, definitely worth going for a great dinner.

The food was to die for! We ordered the Chateaubriand for two, it was amazing. The dessert and coffees we ordered were a great way to end the meal. A little on the pricey side, but definitely worth the money.
