We had such a great time at the Bavaria that we went back for a second time!
Great food was enjoyed by all four of us. The chef even came to talk to our son, who wants to be a chef, about preparing a certain dish.
Very friendly people! If we are going back to Aruba, we certainly will go back to the Bavaria!

Thanks to this site we tried this place and it was awesome. From the moment you walk in you just know it feels right! It's like your in Germany getting a home cooked meal. My wife had the Jágerschnitzel and I had the Krustchen. Huge portions and great flavor. Huge beer menu and the service was excellent. Can't wait to come back next year

Still our Favorite place!! We took some new friends here, and also referred several people from our resort - who all report had wonderful meals, and will return. From the new smoked pork chops to the stuffed grouper to the rinderroulade, potato pancakes, red cabbage, sauerbraten, liver dumpling soup, and everything else that we had - you can tell that a lot of love goes into their food. At one meal, a friend had ordered from the Thai menu (which is run next door by Simon)- not a problem at all. We went there a total of 3 times this trip 9in 10 nights), and I miss Bavaria and the people already. They made Debbie's birthday memorable!! Excellent food, a vast selection of German beers and a full bar - along with great service and people makes Bavaria #1 in our book. I continue to recommend Bavaria - and if you have not tried it.... you are missing out on a gem of a restaurant. Peter, Simon, Chef Jonathan, Rita and Joke...... Thank you all for your hospitality and friendship!!

We had supper at the Bavaria last night. We were welcomed by Joke and had a great supper. Our 'picky' teenagers loved the food as much as we did. I had the Jagerschnitzel which I would recommend! Great taste and we all thought we got great value for our money.
The desert, apple strudel, was also delicious.
We certainly hope to go back there this week.

My wife and I just returned to the hotel from dinner at Bavaria and I wanted to write this review before I forgot . . . We were in the mood for something different and thought that German food sounded interesting. We nearly decided to go somewhere else when we saw the picture of the dining room on their web site; it's not very fancy with folding tables and chairs. Sooo glad we decide to go anyway!

This is a family owned and operated establishment and we were served by the owner, Peter and another family member, Johanna. They were very friendly and offered suggestions for both the extensive beer menu and dinner including some great daily specials. We decided to go with the Jagerschnitzel and the Chicken Cordon Bleu with a side order of Spaetzle and all were outstanding. The mushroom sauce on the Jagerschnitzel was exquisite!!! Prices were very reasonable at $17 and $16.50 US.

I'm writing this to let as many people know about this establishment as possible. It is very difficult to get a new restaurant up and running to the point where it becomes profitable, and this place deserves to make it. They've got it all; great food and service at reasonable prices, and that combination is not easy to find in Aruba!!

We tried this restaurant for the first time and were very pleased we did. The staff was so welcoming and the decor is delightful with a wall of cuckoo clocks and lots of other german mugs, salt and pepper shakers all around.
The selection of beers was amazing making it difficult to decide there were so many good ones to pick from at great prices. Three of us had "wursts" but each one different and each delicious. One came with fried potatoes and onions and two with saurkraut and mashed potatoes - all were great and the highest priced was only $12 - others as low as $8. The fourth diner had a very large veal snitzel which was cooked perfectly, crispy and moist which came with the fried potatoes and onions. We shared an order of 5 potato pancakes with applesauce to start and thought they were terrific.

I recommend you try this place but if someone doesn't want German food, the Sawasdee Thai restaurant next door will send your food to the German place - something for everyone!

We always go back to Bavaria... for cold German beer and excellent food. The owner and staff are very friendly, and we have never been disappointed with the food. This trip we went there 5 times - 2 for good cold beer, 1 for apps and beers, and 2x with friends to have a great time with dinner (and good cold German beer. What can I say... it is not a "white table cloth" fancy place.... but is relaxing and a great overall experience. Thanks Peter for welcoming us back home again!!

First time to this restaurant but definetly will be back multiple times in the future. We did not observe a kissing manager this evening just Peter who we believe is the owner tending to everyones needs. Place filled up quickly . Just to give you an idea with drinks-grouper-( 3)potatoe soups - delicious pork dinner-salad red cabbage and the bill came to $87....I like to know where you can get a comparable meal anywhere for this price. I realize that everyone has different values and tastes but we really loved this meal. I find pork to usually be a little tough....this was by far the moistest I have ever had. Not on the main roads where they can have a large walk in trade so they have to earn it the hard way...with great food. You won't be disapointed
