Chalet Suisse

Chalet Suisse was wonderful! Our servers (Judy & Lalaine) were fantastic. Great food, great ambience, great service - highly recommend!

my wife and I have been going here for many years and are always quite pleased. Many times we bring guest with us and we have all tried may differant items and are always pleased with the quality of the food and the staff. Tonite we had Humphery he was great!!

We have been coming to Aruba every October since 1995 and have always gone at least a couple of times each visit to Chalet Suisse. This year we went four times during our two week stay. Chalet Suisse is, without question, the best restaurant in Aruba! From the minute Maitre D' Benny greets you with "Welcome home", you really feel like you are home and that he and manager Rudy are really glad that you are there. The service is impeccable! Humphrey is the best server we have ever had, anywhere. Reuben (Tattoo) is also a wonderful waiter. We are always so happy to see them. The menu here is so varied, so many different dishes, and everything we have ever tried has been wonderful. The Filet Mignon, Grouper, Lamb chops, and Lobster Tails are our favorites. The Onion soup is a great starter, and of course, we always leave room for dessert. The chocolate mousse is terrific. All in all, Chalet Suisse is the best! Can't wait till next October!

Our favorite restaurant on the island and we have many that like. We could just about go right down the menu and eat there every night! The Black Angus Steak is the BEST on the island.... love a good steak....this is the place to get it. Wait staff is excellent (Judy served us on our last visit) Our good friend Rudy always greets us warmly and we feel we are right at home once we walk in the door. Treat yourself and checkout the Chalet Suisse. My guess is you will be glad that you did.

This is our 25th trip to the wonderful island of Aruba. We have dined a minimum of once and sometimes twice per trip at the best restaurant on the island, Chalet Suisse. Benny has been the host there forever and he guarantees a great meal. Consistency is the mainstay at this fabulous restaurant from appetizers, the escargot is the best I’ve had anywhere in the world, to salads to entrée to dessert. Service is superb. Simply a great place to dine.

Our 4th trip to Aruba but 1st to the Chalet Suisse. Benny made us feel welcomed even though this was our first time there. Our waitress Judy was very charming and informative about the meals. The Seafood Chalet Suisse was outstanding and salad and dressing were very good. I got the macadamia encrusted red snapper and my husband got the wiener schnitzel. Both were wonderful. The chocalate cate and apple strudel were also good. We will definitely be back and we're just sorry that wh haven't come here before.

Just got back from the Island today (11-1-08) enjoyed Chalet Suisse twice this trip - food is excellent and service is awsome - Bennie and Humphrey make you feel like you are friends as Bennie says welcome home my friends - fantastic place to go!!!!

This was our seventeenth trip to Aruba. With each trip it is a must that we have dinner at Chalet Suisse. From the time you walk through the front door and Benny greets you with a warm and friendly smile you are whisked away to your table by Rudy the manager, who loves not only his job but serving all the customers. We had dinner 3 times this trip and each time the meal was outstanding. From the escargot and crab cake to the surf and turf and shnitzel, the rack of lamb and of course dinner would not be complete without the chocolate fondue. Our waiter, Humphrey, is as good as they come. He serves you with a smile and makes sure there is no problem with your meal. Luci, who is a character, will bring you a drink or a bottle of wine, with a flair that is beyond belief. They say if it ain't broke don't fix it. This restaurant is as consistent as any restaurant we've ever had dinner at. You will be pleased to have dinner at Chalet Suisse and will look forward to your next visit.

Our family just returned from Aruba. We
were there for 12 days and we had dinner twice at Chalet Suisse.
From the time you entered you're made to feel like family with a warm greeting,from Rudy the Mgr.and Benny the Maitre'de. Our meals were quite good. The Chateua Briand my wife and I shared was superb. Don't miss the fondeau it was delicious. My sister had the Rack Of Lamb. It was cooked to perfection. Our waiter, Humphrey, was excellent. His carving skills both on the rack of lamb and chateau briand were amazing. A job well done. Luci, who served our drinks and wine, was a lot of fun. All I can say in closing is this is a must every trip to Aruba.

My husband and I have visited the Chalet Suisse several times and it is always wonderful. We live for the Schnitzel and not only is the food wonderful but the waitstaff is exceptional. Our waiter Humphrey went out of his way to bring my husband an Aruba flag pin--something he has been looking for but has been unable to find on our previous visits to Aruba. His kindness will always be with us. He is one of the exceptional people at Chalet Suisse.
