Chalet Suisse

This is one of our must go to every year. The food is consistently good and fantastic service. Never had a bad experience!

Visiting Aruba many years and this was our first visit. Food and service were outstanding. The Chilean Sea Bass was excellent. The deseert was tasty and the presentation very nice.
The service was better than the food.
Very attentive wait staff. Our waiter, Humphrey, was outstanding. Although it does not have the atmosphere of Passion or Flying Fishbone, the food and service make this a return visit.

Continues to be the best spot to dine.
We try others but always find our way back to the best meals here.
Lobster was amazing.
Humphrey and the crew were great.
Guaranteed to not leave hungry.

Food was so good, we came back twice. Best lobster on the island. Humphrey was the best server we have ever had. The restaurant was pleasant, the staff's timing & presentation was perfect. Second trip was every bit as enjoyable as the first.

Dined at Chalet Suisse on Oct 8, 2008. This was our first time dining at this restaurant. The decor was very pleasing. My husband had the wienerschnitzel and I had the beef stroganoff. Both were excellent. Had apple studel and peach melba for dessert - both excellent. The waite staff was friendly and considerate. We are disappointed that we did not eat at this restaurant on previous trips to Aruba but we will definitely dine here on future trips.

We have had dinner 8 or 9 times and have always been trilled to "get home". Humphrey was an excellent waiter.

Went here based on mostly positive reviews posted. We were extremely impressed with both food and service. I had a Swiss specialty dish (I won't try to spell it out), wife had the filet mignon. Both were excellent. We will definitely return.

This is one of our favorite restaurants on the island always good food and great steaks, another great place to dine

My husband and I enjoyed this lovely restaurant immensely during our stay Oct 2007. Food was wonderful, atmosphere is spectacular, service outstanding. We highly recommend it. We are going back in Oct 2008 with friends and convinced them to make reservations prior to arrival, which they have. We think it's a must go to.

I couldn't believe this restaurant scored as high as it did. When it scored almost a 9 out of 10, I'm thinking to myself, gee - does anyone know anything about food? I'm from NY and have eaten in and experienced some of the finest restaurants. My friend and I went there on a Saturday night 9/27/08 and were very disappointed. When we first walked in, we noticed there was a party and immediately asked for a table away from the crowd/kids. It didn't matter because there were kids running up and down the aisles laughing, screaming and hitting each other with their napkins. No one in the restaurant said a word to them. We both ordered the pea soup which came out extremely hot. It wasn't bad, wasn't great. We shared the Seafood Chalet Suisse for an appetizer and it turned my stomach. I hate to be mean but it looked like vomit. I didn't touch it at all. For our entrees, I had the Classic Swiss Dish (Veal) which was okay but the Spaetzle was very dry. My friend had the Beef Stroganoff which was over cooked, bland and looked like dog food. When our waitress asked us if we wanted to order dessert, she seemed very confused. There were 2 ice cream desserts, one of which was a small one and the other a large one. She said the large one came in two bowls so my friend and I decided to split it thinking it was a very large portion but all we got was 2 scoops of ice cream. The only positives were that the restaurant was very clean and the service was very good. Food wise, we will not be back.
