Chalet Suisse

Myself and my family (last year there was 18 of us) have been going to Aruba for 28 years for 2 to 3 weeks! And in a few weeks it will be 29 years! And since The Chalet Suisse has opened we have NEVER missed at least one Family dinner there! If you miss this Restaurant you will miss a Great ARUBA Experience!

As a long time timeshare owner on the Island I have witnessed many resturants come and go. There is a reason this resturant has survived for the past twenty years , consistent great food and superb service. Certainly a most stop for first time visitors and people that are just returning to thier home away from home.

We had Chateaubriand for two and it was Excellent. Service was Great and the place is first class. Have skipped it for a couple years, but will be back again in September. Great Steak and Dutch menu.

My wife and I went to Chalet Suisse during our first visit to Aruba and it was amazing. The steaks were perfect and the recommendation from wine list made our dinner easily the most memorable during our week on the island. We would absolutely go there again and look forward to it as much as the days on the beach.

This is a fantastic restaurant and a must-do for any visitor to Aruba. Chalet Suiise has the best rack of lamb and chocolate fondue I have ever eaten. Every time I return to Aruba, my first meal is always at the Chalet Suisse.

This restaurant is annually the most consistant restaurant on the island. The staff is friendly, right from the warm greating given by Benny to the come again given by Rudi. The food is wonderful, especially the steaks, and the prices are right.

One of the most consistent and realiable rest. The lamb is great and the wahoo was a winner.

My wife and I have stopped here every visit to Aruba. It has become a special place for us. This year we also had some family with us and it was just as special for them. The atmosphere and service cannot be beat.
The menu has something for everyone. It combines both a romantic atmosphere as well as just a great place with friends and family. Thanks... for another great dining experience.

I was in Aruba at end of October into November.We ate at Chalet Suisse twice.This has always been one of our favorite restauants on the island.The first night was fine ,it was just my wife and I.We decided to go back on our last night ,our 2 children had come for the second week. We had told them how much we liked it there.
The food ,sevice and staff attitudes was about the worst that we have ever had anywhere at any restaurant. My son thought we were crazy for talking so highly about this place. When we were leaving I did talk to "Benny"who had not come to the table during the whole meal or greet so on the way in or out.This is only the second time that I have ever done this at a restaurant in my life.He seemed to have a attitude ,and did not really care about what I had to say. I talked to him in a nice manner and out of the way,inorder not to bring attention to the matter, The only thing he said was that next time remind him and he would give us some wine.This really does not help,because I doubt there will be a next time

The service was excellent. Food was great and the portions were generous. Will be back next year!
