My husband and I went just for the Toblerone chocolate fondue- DELICIOUS!
But, when we got there- we were sorry we didn't have our whole dinner there- the food looked really good- but the dessert was spectacular- we were in heaven- and will go back whenever we're in Aruba.

The food was phenomenal!! We had the Chateaubrau that was the best piece of meat we ever experienced. We also had stuffed chicken with spinach and cheeses that was awesome. The garlic shrimp melted in your mouth!
The service was great. My husband was so happy with the whole experience that he gave an $80 tip. I definetly recommend it!

We enjoyed our time here. The crab cake was wonderful, we also tried the french onion soup was very good. My husband had the shrimp over rice and it was good not great but good. I had the chalet chicken and it was really good.
We had great service. The whole staff friendly and quick!
Desert was creme brulee... We had never had it so gave it a try and it was good a little cold, but mabye that is the way it is suppose to be, I don't know.
All in All it was a wonderful eveing! Thanks Chalet Suisse!

Trending rapidly downhill without any brakes.
Too bad, it was THE place to get a good steak. Now all you get is a maître d' who thinks he's a comedian.
Dessert is OK.

Usually visit at least twice on every trip.
Generally good, although we were somewhat disapointed with the Bass this time. We'll stick to the steak from now on.

This was our 1st and only time in this restaurant. We had a catch of the day and a Wiener Schnitzel. Both were terrible, tough and tasteless. We eat better fish in a simple local bistro than in this restaurant. Dessert: famous apple strudel was saggy. I truly do not know why people rate this place as high as they do. If you like good food, find another place for dinner. Service was nice but didn’t substitute for bad food.

Year in and year out, this is by far our favorite meal on the island. We have never been disappointed with the food and even tried new dishes (the veal chop and chicken milanese) this year. Amazing. The French Onion soup is out of this world. The highlight of the week.

No one greeted us when we walked in so we had to go to the bar to find someone to seat us. We had a reservation so they knew we were coming. The service was the worst I have ever had in what is suppose to be an upscale restuarant. We were there Dec. 2004. Food was average at best. Definitely will not return!
