Gianni's does it again!

On our last night in Aruba,my guest chose Daniel's Steak house. The staff was dressed in Halloween costumes and the staff was in a happy mood. The moijito was good. The three cheese risotto was excellent despite the waitress telling me twice how it was made when I asked twice, what were the three cheeses! The T-bone I ordered med-rare had grizzle and could not be easily chewed or cut with their steak knife. When I showed this to the waitress, she said it was because the steak was too rare and she would have it cooked more. It came back overdone and she admitted it was overdone but never suggested a new steak. My dish as well as my companion's dish had more fat and grizzle debris in it when taken away than when the entire steak was presented. As a consolation to our poor quality steaks, we were offered one dessert which I refused but it was presented anyway! A number of years ago we had a similar experience in Azzuro's, another of his properties. They refused to take back or take off the bill poorly presented, cooked and overly priced broccoli rabbe. The special pasta in the "wheel" was served with resentment in "mini stacks" since we were a party of eight at their regular price times four since it is made for two to share. When it is shared, two "stacks" are served not one and charged the full price.
The staff should be better trained (or maybe they are) on taking back food that is not up to standards. There are too many fine restaurants on Aruba to have to frequent one of the three Gianni's restaurants!!!!

Daniels was wonderful. We were looking for a nice place our last evening in aruba and this was it. Food and service was phenomenal. This was the best steak on the island. Would highly recommend. And the price was not bad at all for the portions and quality. Will definitely go back.

Happily Surprized

We ate here because someone gave us a discount coupon the night before and we were thrilled. Brought our 4 year olds food out first, service was impeccable, food was melt in your mouth good. Kind of pricey, but definitely worth it. I would eat here again.

Next to El Guaucho this is the best Steakhouse on the Island. I Have eaten at the Radisson Hotel and the Rennasence downtown and others. They do not compare as far as price and quality and service are concerned

I don't know where you guys are getting this from. We were here in May of 2009 with 4 adults and in February 2010 with 4 adults and 1 child. The steaks were tops and service exquisite. We are going back tonight. I had a 23 ounce porterhouse, medium rare with horseradish sauce each time and the dessert was awesome. We loved it.

Avoid this restaurant at all cost! We were waiting in line at Gianni's Italian restaurant. Were told we could get seated immediately at Daniel's and order from either menu. Perfect. We were not asked if we preferred outdoor seating (would have). Restaurant was way too cold. We did order from Gianni's menu and the service tanked from that point on. The waitress/hostess was rude on the rare occasion she came by our table. Adult meals were served first and the whole dish (fish/veges) was cold. The teens's pasta dishes showed up 15-20 minutes later! After a long wait the hostess asked if we wanted our check. We responded that we would like coffee. More rolling of her eyes. Must have taken 25 minutes to bring the coffee.

We are very much accustomed to a 2-2.5 hour meal in Aruba. This was unbearable. Perhaps our error was in ordering off the Gianni's menu, but we were enticed to eat there with that promise. I would NEVER go there again. Worst dining experience in 7 dinners that week and in 3 different trips to Aruba!

The Ferrara Family (owners of Ginannis and Daniel's) Shame on you! After a day of work, visited you restaurant in December. We ordered you Early Bird Special. It looked good! Soup or Salad were fine. For a Steak House to serve a strip steak that was the consistancy of shoe sole.. unreal. I asked for it medium rare which was impossible. Not only was the meat thin, my piece was over 1/3 fat. Staff was apathetic to what I had to say. For $10 less I could of gone to across the street.. and had a very nice Gaucho Steak .... I would not recommend.

We recently visited this restaurant after reading reviews on this site. The steak was just o.k. (nothing to rave about. The service however needs addressing. We waited 1 hour for our meal looking for someone to ask (no one came to explain the long wait). Through the entire meal not one server came to our table to ask how everything was. No one asked if we wanted desert or coffee. It was a very disappointing experience and we will be sure to tell our friends who frequent Aruba to STAY AWAY
