Driftwood Restaurant
We are located in the heart of downtown and offer you and your guests a unique dining experience. Enjoy the freshest fish, biggest shrimp, or the most succulent Caribbean lobster amid the rustic ambiance of the natural driftwood dining room. Our menu includes a large variety of typically Aruban delicacies including our three star fish soup and our mouth-watering filet of fish served with a mild creole sauce (Aruban Style), a seafood lovers dream come true. Furthermore all dishes are prepared with an Aruban touch and accompanied by pan bati, our famous Aruban corn bread.

I had dinner at the Driftwood with two Aruban friends early in August. The service was excellent as was the food. We had grouper Aruban style and both the food quality and presentation were outstanding. Although the atmosphere was "elegantly" casual, the dining experience was equal to a formal dinner in a large city. Dinner for three including wine was about $65 which was very reasonable.

Me and my sister were there July 6th and thought the food was great. We split the steak and lobster and we were both filled. This losbter was much better then the losbter we had at buccaneers (watery,no flavor). The service was great here. We would definitly go back.

We've been coming here for multiple times over our 7 visits to Aruba. The food is consistantly fresh and tasty.
We're hooked on their escargot with garlic butter and mashed potatoes. Usually we have the catch of the day prepared
ala meniure. It's always our first night dinner and look forward to the white sangria and relaxed atmoshere. Service has
always been good, but we get there around 6pm. Prices very reasonable<$70 for 2 appetizers,2 fish dinners and
4 sangrias.

I am going to be the disenting view here. Drifwood was hard to find to begin with. Had reservations and were seated right away, but very full and cramped to me. Waited a very long time for food to arrive and wait staff had to be called over for additional drinks, etc. Seemed that once they had taken first drink order and meal order that was it. Food was very good though when it arrived, but at that point I was ready to box it and head back to hotel. If you have kids, stay away. The $15 for chicken strips will kill you and after the wait the kids will be bouncing off the walls. May sound bland, but Tony Romas, Buccaneer and Pelican pier restaurant did a great job in all area's.

Good food at a good price. Staff was friendly and informative. The atmosphere was casual and friendly. Service was good. Giant 12 oz. Lobster tails were great and reasonably priced. Much better dining experience than the Waterfront Crabhouse. I would recommend this restaurant to all who like seafood.

A good, casual fresh seafood restaurant located downtown. Interior of restaurant is rustically decorated with (you guessed it) driftwood. Escargot (in shells), coconut shrimp ($7 for 3 shrimp), grouper Aruban style (good), grouper w garlic sauce (delicious), 3 white sangrias (great drinks) - $68 w 15% svc. We like the fresh seafood here; it’s casual, affordable and consistently good.
