Great place to eat lunch or dinner, if you can beat all the cruise ship folks in. This is the only restaurant/bar I've seen in Aruba that is always crowded. And for good reason the food was great, we ate there 3 times. The mixed drink will knock you on you A**, and there reasonable priced. They have a sister restaurant/bar named Smokey Joe's located a little north of the Allegro in the high rise area. It is also great. We wound have a night cap here almost every night. Make sure you say hi to Giovanni the islands funniest bartender and Andrea the island hottest bartender, all in one bar. They have happy hour when ever the bell rings (all the time). Danny the manager goes out of his way to make your stay perfect. Make sure you tell Steven you hate the Sox's (he runs the 2 restaurants huge Red Sox'x fan Huge) A bunch of great people. Try the jerk chicken!!!!!!

The absolute BEST Keshi Yena that I have ever tasted. Appetizers, salads and other entrees good as well. Restaurant has great location, friendly service, (although somewhat slow). Very casual. Overall, highly recommend.

We ate here two times in May and also just had drinks one evening when downtown. It's a great place to grab something quick without a reservation and in your most casual clothes! We had lunch once and dinner once. WE had fajitas, ribs, taco salad, port bbq sandwich, all were good. We loved the banana bye bye drinks and the pink iguanas. Great people watching on the streets below.

We ate lunch here three times because: we often found ourselves downtown at lunchtime, you never needed reservations, the prices are very reasonable, the food is always pretty good, and the drinks are even better. Our first time, we split the Iguanachos and bbq rib appetizer. We washed it down with a Lethal Lizard and Cactus Colada. Our second time, we only had a couple of sodas, a taco salad and (my favorite) Iguanachos. Our third visit, we split the Iguanachos, bbq rib appetizer and a taco salad. Since we knew it would be our last meal here, we had a couple of their famous drinks, two pink iguanas and two cactus coladas. (Sorry, I didn’t keep track of the bills, but they were very reasonable and do not include a service charge.)

A fun place to eat. The food was filling and quite good--had the ribs. Their drink menu is refreshing and quite tasty. It would've been nice if they gave you wet-wipes after the ribs but hey. It's downtown so you get all the cruise ship traffic and shoppers but it makes for a nice dinner over the bustling crowd. The dinner patrons are spirited but not overly so--a friendly bunch, especially after a few selections from the aforementioned drink menu.

We had a 10-day holiday in Aruba in November, and Iguana Joes was the place we loved to eat at. All the food, dessert and drinks were fantastic. The service is not the best in the world, but hey, we were on a holiday, no hurries! Greetings from the cold and snow in the north of Europe; Finland!

At this typical bar & grill style restaurant, you get a fairly good menu at a reasonable price. It does make a good stop for lunch or dinner if you're in town and not looking for anything gourmet.

Get a table overlooking the street and it makes for some interesting people-watching. The menu has a good deal of variety in its entrees and mixed drink selections. The food comes in very satisfying portions.

Service, however, is excruciatingly slow and infrequent. And if you're going for drinks, don't expect a waiter to come by often enough to keep you satisfied. We saw our waiter twice in a whole hour during our visit, and it took 15 minutes for him to bring our first drinks. The small bar, which has room for about 10 patrons, might be a better bet for faster service.

Great if you're already in town, but otherwise not worth going out of your way.

Entrees $12-19.
