Breakfast

Feb 20, 2020 - posted by
I walked to the counter at 11am one lady in front of me and no one attending. All the workers were busy with the drive through. 10 min later they switch the breakfast menu to lunch and continued attending drive through. By the time they finally came to us, the girls says no breakfasts, I asked for the manager (ms Tromp and all she can say was that I was late and will not give me breakfast SORRY” end of story. I’m local and felt very ashamed the type of service my people are giving.

No!! Sta cruz Aruba mc donald is bad.

The young adult at the cashier was leaning on the counter. Did not greet me until I loudly told her good morning. The food was not quality expected. The toilet was nasty. AND No paper at all. There were multiple flies flying around. The trashcan was open next to the front door. Only the seats closest to the toilet where comfortable, all other seats where like standing outside in the sun in your face @ 30° C. Many things to improve.

Slechtste mc Donalds ooit!

Jan 5, 2016 - posted by

BAD WORSE WORST !!!!!!!!!!

Dec 22, 2013 - posted by
Shame shame shame !!!!!! What a bad service !!! this is our 4th and last visit to Aruba !!! What a terrible service. It gets worse and worse on the island !! No wonder the tourist choose other destinations. Today Sunday decemer 22nd 2013 we waited to be served at the drive through. It took 35 minutes to be served with litterally 2 cars in front of us. yes, 2 cars in front, no more.
To get "one" Qaurter Pound Menu. they also where out of icecreme so, no shakes, no icecones, no mcflurry. And as if that was not enough the order was wrong and the helper did not give one bit about me complaining about the service. Please in the name of all Mc Donald lovers and eaters: Fire everyone and start a souvenirshop. What a disaster of a place do you run there? The worst place in the caribbean

My perspective:

Aug 20, 2012 - posted by
Having lived in Aruba for almost two years, I have to say the service at McDonald's is on par with service on most of the island. Not that service is bad, but at a different pace than most American's expect. When you are out for a leisurely dinner, slow doesn't bother you, but when you go to a FAST food restaurant you expect FAST service. In Aruba, that ain't gonna happen. As for the food quality, it is definitely not up to the standards in the states. From what I can tell, either they do not have the time limits on prepared food that the McD's do in the states or they do not adhere to them. My advice: If you have to go to McDonald's, go when they are not busy and special order everything - and ask if the fries are fresh. If they make your sandwiches fresh and the fries are new, the food is edible and in the same ballpark price as McD food in the states.

It's Mickey Ds

Aug 10, 2012 - posted by
I live in Aruba and I have eaten at the high rise Mickey D's several times over the years. Their service consistently ranges from not good to terrible. Times when there has been a long line of customers, I have never seen the manager interrupt her standing around to open and work another cash register. The place is never very clean. Seldom have we seen anyone wiping off tables and chairs or the condiment counter. Someone commented on how their food was so fresh which is not what I ever observed. We never stop there anymore.

Staff not properly trained to give service, n

Jul 22, 2012 - posted by
It looks like the staff doesn't know much about service or don't care!!!! I went in to buy a burger, stand in line for 10 minutes, four turns in front of me, drive thru had a few cars, the only thing they served was 4 ice creams and those persons were waiting for them on the side, staff were comfortably working , talking and joking while customers were waiting even to be helped. I actually I left without being helped and the same persons in line waiting(they must have been very hungry)that was the 20th of july 2012 @ 22.30hrs. I defenetily won't return to this place and recommend others the same.

Horrible experiences the last three times going to McDonald's in Palm Beach. The service is so slow mostly because the employees are inept. Today, spent over 10 minutes idling in the drive thru after I had already paid. Not because I was waiting for other cars, I was the only one there! Horrible experience for a Saturday at 10am. The service inside is almost as slow on prior visits. It doesn't get any worse either in the US or Canada.

OK - we admit it, we even try some of the fast food chains in ARUBA and we admit it shamelessly. As BILLYBOY says"
"Just for the record the food is not the same as the U.S.Mickey D's" and he is right and that is why we continue to return becasue the food is not the same - it is much fresher and reminds us of the earlier days of the chain when the food was somewhat tasty and well worht the price andthat is what the ARUBA McDonald's does - the food here tastes different, the ingredients are fresher, and the quality is far better than most US fast food chain stores including the domestic McDonald's. GO and taste the difference and see what we mean. Though we would never suggest to you that this is fine eating, it is credible eating if you are looking for a snack or a quick lunch or want to entertain the children and we would be reluctant to try to discourage anyone from going. It is a unique experience and it is one that is worth doing.
