I have been comming to Aruba now for 18 years, I have seen the Island transform over that time especially in the dining area. I must say it has been our loss for not trying Passions sooner as it is now our favorite Seafood restaurant on the Island. On our first day of this trip we tried Passions and had such a wonderful meal and service (with Natalie) that we came back 2 more times (3x total) in our 8 days on the Island. My compliments to the Chef and his staff for the wonderful meals that are served from such a small beach kitchen. The atmosphere, service, and food made for a wonderful experience that will last forever. We are already looking forward to returning to your restaurant next year.
If there were any area you could improve, it would be in making the reservation, the bar staff is quite busy during the day and does not always have the time to take the reservation or something gets lost in translation. We had made a reservation at the beach bar for dinner 3 times and had a small issue 1 time. We booked for 6 people when we arrived they only had us down for 2, it was not a problem and your staff handled it very professionally but I could see where this could be an issue on very busy nights as your seating is limited. But as I said it was a minor issue but during the busier times (high season) a mistake like that could cost you business. While we were waiting for the staff to prepare our table for 6 another couple tried to walk in for dinner, they stated that the beach bar staff said walk ins were no problem, unfortunately they were unable to accommodate this couple, the staff did offer a later seating that night but the couple choose to go somewhere else. I hate to see you loose business or potential customers due to confusion or misinformation at the beach bar. In closing I would give Passions a 5 star rating out of 5. Thanks again for great food and a wonderful time.
