Que Pasa? - Restaurant - Bar & Art Gallery
Que Pasa Restaurant & Winebar has been a culinary institute since 1992. The restaurant is located in a historical merchant house in downtown Oranjestad, and its menu features a tasty variety of international specials, as well as freshly made sushi from their Dragonfly sushi station. Chef Michelle and her team go out of their way to make every night a culinary experience. The in-house wine connoisseur happily assists you in pairing the perfect wine with your dinner choice. At Que Pasa you will feel welcome and have a great time for sure. The friendly staff will serve you with a smile. And the food experience will keep you talking about it, even long after your visit.

Third vacation in Aruba and we try different places to eat all the time. A friend suggested Que Pasa. Excellent choice. My husband and brother in law had the grouper and I had Chicken Teryacki which was just fantastic. It was the best I ever tasted. The servers were females from Holland and very very nice!! Plan to return next year for a delicious meal!!! Thank you!

We were not impressed about this place and we are definitely not coming back. Here are a few reasons:
1. The restaurant has a very dark environment... you hardly can see your food and the kids can't even to draw on their kids menu.
2. The waitress poured our wine without letting us taste it first, and then put the cork back in the bottle.
3. The goat cheese salad was good, but everything else didn't meet our expectations, considering the prices that they charge.
4. The cheesecake was like philly cheese with fruits and the brownie was solid as a rock.
5. We had to send our daughter to ask for the check, because there was nobody around for minutes since we finished our desserts.
6. The survey that came with the bill was already filled by someone with "excellent" in every item.

We do not recommend this place basically because the food wasn't worth the money, not good for going with family & the service was poor.

Had dinner here Friday evening, it was fantastic! If you come to Aruba do not miss this restaurant. We got there at about 8 pm with no reservation and they pulled a table together for us. We had the french onion soup and fried brie to start. Both were wonderful. I had the shrimp and chorizo which was very good, my wife had the snapper which she enjoyed. My daughter had a dish called pork softness. SHe said it tasted like the way christmas smells... I tried it, it was wonderful. We had the fried bananas for desert... two words... sinfully good!

The service was good, but we never knew who our waiter was one lady took our order for drinks and dinner, another gentleman took out desert order and a third brought the bill. No matter the food was fantastic.

We had no problem getting a cab back to the Westin. Well worth the cab ride!

Que Pasa has been on our list of restaurants to visit since they opened, and it will remain on it after a wonderful dinner we had in Mid July. As usual the food and the ambience were great. But what has always been an added virtue of the restaurant was the extremely friendly and fun server crew. What's impportant to point out is that their friendliness does not detract from their efficiency and confortable pacing of the dinner. We love their carpaccio and fish dishes!
And if you eventually compare to other high quality Aruba restaurants you'll find that their prices are slightly lower

After searching for a restaurant that we could not find, we stumbled upon the colorful exterior of Que Pasa and thought we would give it a go. We got there pretty late, considering pretty much all of the town was closed. But after entering and seeing a few people at the bar, the waiter told us that the kitchen was still open and we could sit. The decor is unique and it was a fun atmosphere. The server was great, had wonderful specials and served us cold beer that was great. We had soup to start and the onion soup is just AMAZING and was served in a large bowl! must try, so flavorful, one of the best I have ever had. Main courses were also amazing as well. We had such a nice time and the food was cooked to perfection and were good portion sizes. Would definitely go back and recommend it to others. Off the beaten path, as it is not on the main road, but was perfect. Waiter was so great too!

We are seasoned Aruba vacationers and dedicated "foodies" who have always loved the restaurants on this beautiful island. QuePasa stands way above the typical and even manages to outshine the more well known places. Hidden on a narrow street in Orangestad, this gem of restaurant is full of hospitality, atmosphere and fabulous food. It is part art gallery and part dining heaven! The brightly painted walls are filled with artistic treasures and the wait staff are eager to make you happy. The menu has exciting choices for vegetarians (me) as well as new twists on meat and seafood dishes. The food is fresh, flavorful and innovative.I loved the light and flaky Vegetable Strudel. My husband's dish was incredible, too! Que Pasa should not be missed on your tour of Aruba's eateries.

Being a vegetarian on the island isn't always easy; you get a lot of creamy cheesy pasta. But at Che Pasa I ate one of the best vegetarian meals I've eaten any where in the world! A delicious and creative pearl cous cous and vegetable dish that was fresh, colorful and full of flavor. The daily specials offered are extensive, and the wait staff very friendly and attentive.

I always get invited to many favorite restaurants of friends but we thought we'll try a new one for a change this year. We went to Que Pasa and we were very impressed with the service and the food from appetizer to main course & dessert were done to perfection!!! Delicious plus plus!!! My left over the next day when heated in the microwave tasted as fresh as it was ordered. The waiters are very friendly they made as feel so at home. Not only will I recommend this to all my friends but I'll be on their doorstep many times for take-outs since I live here in Aruba.
