Screaming Eagle
Screaming Eagle - taste and the pleasure of dining.

Our Chefs prepare fresh seafood - both locally caught and from around the world - in a modern interpretation. The meats proudly reveal their affinity to French cuisine. Healthy vegan and vegetarian options are a new and growing passion.

Great food screams for great wine to come along. And Screaming Eagle propelled the wine list to the next level, offering various levels of matching options to perfectly pair the food. Our mixologist and sommelier has many more liquid dreams at your disposal.

The whole package is compelling, hence Screaming Eagle was voted best restaurant in the Caribbean by ‘Caribbean Journal’ in 2015! Repeating to make a mark on the Top 50 list ever since, securing a Top 5 slot each following year, adding ‘Caribbean Chef of the Year Award’ in 2017. And striving.

Welcome to deliciousness!

We ate at Screaming Eagle for my husband's birthday. We had a party of 6.

My husband and I had sirloin, and the other guests had shrimp, veal, fish, and tenderloin.

Our steak was undercooked, we sent it back with no problems. It was delicious (from the US we were told, not Argentinian beef) but a bit fatty. The sides were good; mashed and asparagus.

I believe the hype over the Screaming Eagle had us expecting much more. We sat outside at a table that didn't have any breeze at all (unheard of in Aruba!) and it was hot. The decor is indeed beautiful, but the restaurant was a bit dark inside. I did find it a bit strange (as if I was intruding) to walk by a couple lying on the bed feeding each other and drinking champagne.

It was a great experience, we were glad to have gone, but I'm not sure we'll make it back. Definitely a place to try though!

If you are a foodie, you must get the Carte Blanche. One fabulous thing after another. Attentive service, cool atmosphere, and two visits from Chef Michael. We're hooked.

How do you run out of an item on your menu at 7:30 on a Sat. night? What we did order was good but very small portions for a large price. We are unsure if we'll give them another try, they may have their act together by next year.

I don't get all the hype. Ate here with a party of 7 and we were there for almost 3 hours. That is long even by Aruba standards! I thought the ceviche was terrible. Rest of the food was just ok - no one thought anything was really outstanding to warrant the reviews we have been reading. To add insult to injury, when the server presented the bill he said to my husband, "we would prefer the tip in cash". I bet he would! I thought that was tacky. The place is very pretty, but I don't eat atmosphere.

My party of 6 decided to eat here on a Thursday; trying to beat the weekend crowd. We were thinking we could get better service eating earlier too. Decided to eat at 6:30, there were 5 other people in the entire restaurant. Waited over 1 hour for drinks another hour for appetizers( drinks were now empty of course) and didn't stick around to find out how much longer it was going to take to bring our food out. Service was obviously horrible. The managers wanted nothing to do with us and didn't bother trying to explain anything. We paid for the food we ate and drinks and quietly left. DON'T BOTHER HERE! There are many other excellent places to eat of this wonderful island.

What a FABULOUS restaurant!!! Coming from NY I've been to so many great places but the screaming eagle holds its own. The food was incredible and the restaurant was so beautiful!! It felt like a city restaurant. We liked it so much we went twice during our 1 week vacation. The second time we had to take our kids! They had great food and they loved eating in BED!!! On your next trip this place is a must GO!!
