Screaming Eagle
Screaming Eagle - taste and the pleasure of dining.

Our Chefs prepare fresh seafood - both locally caught and from around the world - in a modern interpretation. The meats proudly reveal their affinity to French cuisine. Healthy vegan and vegetarian options are a new and growing passion.

Great food screams for great wine to come along. And Screaming Eagle propelled the wine list to the next level, offering various levels of matching options to perfectly pair the food. Our mixologist and sommelier has many more liquid dreams at your disposal.

The whole package is compelling, hence Screaming Eagle was voted best restaurant in the Caribbean by ‘Caribbean Journal’ in 2015! Repeating to make a mark on the Top 50 list ever since, securing a Top 5 slot each following year, adding ‘Caribbean Chef of the Year Award’ in 2017. And striving.

Welcome to deliciousness!

We had heard so many positives about this restaurant, we made reservations for our last night on Aruba last week. We were very disappointed. The atmosphere was Miami Beach - not Aruba - and it was extremely noisy. The hostess asked if we'd mind a table near cigar smoke! Escargot was good, but the rest of the food was average at best - and you were not given a vegetable. We ordered a $35 bottle of wine, but when the waiter brought it, he simply showed it to us, and asked if it was okay. I questioned him when I realized that this was not the wine we ordered; his response was that they were out of what we ordered so he substituted this bottle. When I asked what the price was, he told me it was $57. The rest of the service was okay - very impersonal. The prices were very high. We dine out a minimum of 9 nights per year in Arubs, but we will never go back to Screaming Eagle.

I will never forget my first sample of the tuna tatar I had as an appetizer. A staccato of flavors, amalgamating, leaving me in awe.

This is a true world class restaurant, which even would be ranked amongst the best in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, London, Madrid, New York, Paris and Zurich. WOW!!!

Dined here on 1/28/08. Food was average to below average at best. The insult to injury was how overpriced they were. No doubt, the ambiance was fantastic. However, it lost it's luster with the mediocrity of the food. Save your money and go to the many other fine restaurants in Aruba. This one is forever off our list!! All show and no go...

We dinned at the Screaming Eagle in early Jan. 08. We had an early reservation for 6:00 PM. We ordered the lobster bisque and Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was brown on most of the edges and was very fishy. I was unable to finish the salad. The lobster bisque was not up to par, off brown color and not creamy at all. Did not finish all of this either. We split the main course of fish. This was very good. We did not have desert, the bisque and salad killed that. Overall not to bad. Work on the Caesar salad and get the recipe from the Flying Fishbone for your Lobster Bisque

I have now been there 4 or 5 times in the last few months. Each time I felt like I was dining somewhere where my food was being prepared with dedication, passion and a dash of creativity. Also, they know about wines! (that is an exception on Aruba) Try the Creme Brulee de Foie Gras with their wine recommendation. DO HAVE DESSERT HERE!!!

we read the great reviews and made two reservations during christmas week. It is a very nice restaurant, but all the fanfare is overblown. we have been coming to aruba for about 9-10 years and its always exciting to try a nice, new restaurant, but this one is not in the same league as madame janette or le dome. i had the rib-eye steak and it was very, very fatty and tough. my daughter ordered the filet medium and it came very rare. it went back three times before it was medium, but it was good. the two fish dishes we had were good. prices are inline with finer aruba restaurants. we did not go back for our second reservation.
