Interesting setting but you need to get there at sunset to enjoy it. Expensive with relatively small portions.
Probably not make it to our "must go" list.

Well, this was our first restaurant upon returning to Aruba. It had been 3 year since we were here before, and we were not dissapointed. We had outstanding service, fantastic meal, and absolutely the most wonderful environment (the ocean was "literally" lapping at our feet).

Features a terrific view of the ocean. We went during sunset which was absolutely breathtaking. Food was very good. The service was good but not outstanding.

Heard so many great things had to give it a try. Atmosphere was wonderful. That was about it. Waitstaff friendly, but food was average at best and so over priced we didn't bother to have dessert. Love "dining" but 2.5 hours for average expensive food was not called for. The worst dining experience of our vacation.

A mediocre restaurant with a great setting. I was expecting more based on previous reviews. Ran out of specials by 8:00 on a Saturday night. Not that impressed.

The setting, mood, and ambience of this restaurant far surpass any other restaurant on the island. It is undeniably one of the most romantic restaurants in the country, and my presonal favorite. The tables are on the beach (read: in the sand) and for the first time visitor it can be awkward if you're wearing improper shoes. The lighting, the open air, the palm trees, and the delicious food make for one enjoyable and relaxing night out. And don't worry if it rains, there are a few spots under a covered terrace, and tables can be moved rather easily should it start raining.

The dining experience is excellent. The seafood is superb, as the fish is caught fresh every day. The dessert menu has a delicious and satisfying selection. The restaurant has a bar if you're waiting for a table or stay after dinner for a drink, and it has a full selection, although the mixed drinks can be a bit strong.

The wait staff is friendly, but service can be very infrequent unless you actively flag down and ask for a waiter's assistance. The restaurant is definitely worth the 30-40 minute drive from the major hotel areas (and about 20 minutes from town). The Flying Fishbone easily makes for a night you will never forget.

Entrees $27-35.

Awesome place. Our favorite on the island. You simply cannot get the ambiance and setting anywhere else on the island (or in the world, for that matter). We have eaten on tables in the sand, which we really like. However, the best was when we were at a table that was half in the water: They took our shoes and placed them on a small hanger next to the table. The water lapped at--and on--our feet the entire dinner as the sun went down. The experience is unequalled.

It can be quite expensive, no doubt ($27-$30 for an entree) but this is the one place we splurge when we go. Get a reservation for around 6:00-6:15 so that you can see the sunset. Great tropical drinks--my wife Sarah loves the Sneaky Peach. Bread with the meal is very good, with an excellent olive tampenade. If an anniversary or honeymoon, tell them ahead of time and they might prepare something special for you (or give you a table right on the water). Also, desserts are made for two, so you'll only need to order one (e.g., creme brulee' was awesome, and it came in two bowls).

This is casual oceanfront dining, but "fine dining" nonetheless.

It is expensive and service is not hurried by any means. There is plenty of time to soak in the atmosphere. Not the place to go if you like to eat rush, rush.

Can be a problem for finicky eaters, inquire when you make your reservation.

This is the most romantic restaurant on the island. The atmosphere is incredible. The staff is somewhat "stuffy" & not as nice as some of the other fine restaurants however, the quality of the food is consistent and excellent. We go every year & it's a must in Aruba.
