Wacky Wahoo's
Just imagine fresh fish caught that morning from the sparkling clear waters off the Aruban coast. Add to that imported Argentine meats, hand selected by the chef. Mix delicately with the herbs, spices and traditional ingredients of the Caribbean and finally combine it all with the knowledge and skill of a European trained chef.

This is the best restaurant on the Island. And has the cutest filipino waiter there. He is so pleasant and made our family feel very comfortable. Seemed like he was running the show in there, and did a great job at it. I like how its a small family run business and the food is excellent. Everyone should eat at Wacky Wahoos.

Our last night in Aruba and we decided to try a new restaurant to us. Wacky Wahoo's is a darling little restaurant, which serves the best grouper (baked in paper) and a fish I have never heard of, Amber Jack. This was recommended to my husband by our waiter. My husband was in 7th heaven.

This is not a "fancy" place, but a restaurant which is very, very cute and the staff makes you feel right at home. I also have to add that for $6.50, I had one of the best Cosmopolitans I have ever had.

This is definitely a restaurant worth going back to. Have fun.

Love this place. We were there last year shortly after they opened and again this year. The food is spectacular. The conch and shrimp stew is one of my favorite dishes on the island. My wife had the grouper, which was one of the catches of the day.

Small dining room, so the tables are a little close together and it can be a little loud, but it seems like a neighborhood place with the freshest seafood and pretty good service.

Would recommend this place whole-heartedly. We will make this a stop everytime we are on the island.

Wacky Wahoo has become a must do on our trips. We think they are the best for seafood. I had the fish soup "very fresh, hearty, & spicy" sure helped my cold & sore throat. DW had the Wahoo fresh catch of the day grilled. I also had the Wahoo pan fried. You also get a good amount of veggies. We both loved the Wahoo. DW couldn't finish hers & took half of it in a doggie bag - she enjoyed it for lunch next day poached in chicken broth. Drinks & wine were also very good. Very friendly, competent wait-staff. Cost with tip = 82.87

food was good but limited menu. never got a chance to try dessert because waiter cleared table asked if we wanted dessert then waited on 3 other tables and was no where to be seen! We had to ask bus girl to get our check, he finally came and never apologized for extensive delay. It was like your local diner with tablecloths on tables. would not go back!!!!

I think that WAcky Wahoo's is one of the best restaurants on the island. The food was heavenly. I had the pan fried grouper and it was so good. My daughter had an excellent choice too. She had the grouper pappillote. Inside, it was cooked with garlic, herbs and lots of vegetables. My wife had the red snapper pan fried and she enjoyed it as well. The prices are reasonable compared to other restaurants. The service was great too. I had a wonderful experience in the wacky wahoo restaurant.

Just ate at Wacky Wahoo's last night! We were very impressed at the attention we were given the presentation of our dinner and most importantly, how great the food was prepared. All of our dishes (fettucchni, barracuda, jerk beef skekers, and shrimp casserole) were outstanding! One word of warning though... make reservations before. The staff was kind enough to seat us even though we just walked in.

We loved this place on our first visit so it was a given that we would go back. Glad we did. Everything is fresh & delicious. I had the wonderful black bean soup, same as last time, & my husband had the creamy seafood soup which was also great. I had the amberjack fish & my husband the barracuda (that's right, definitley try it). Both were very good. Service was good as well. Portions are large & prices reasonable. Definitely worth going to but try to make reservations in advance as it was very crowded when we went.

We enjoyed Wacky Wahoo's very much. Our dinners were excellent, fresh, quality dishes. Outstanding and friendly service from our server, Joseph.
My wife had the special, Pesto linguine with sauteed daily catch choice. She chose the Barracuda and it was delicious. I had the baked grouper "en papiliotte" (paper) with the included 4 sides. A lot of good food and we left there quite full and satisfied. Although a very small dining room, we made reservations through resort concierge desk and were glad we did. The place filled shortly after we were seated. Limited menu, as expected, emphasis on seafood. If you want a good quality seafood meal check out W.W. but either arrive with reservations or get there early. We saw some people turned away at the door on a Monday night, in July.
