Wacky Wahoo's
Just imagine fresh fish caught that morning from the sparkling clear waters off the Aruban coast. Add to that imported Argentine meats, hand selected by the chef. Mix delicately with the herbs, spices and traditional ingredients of the Caribbean and finally combine it all with the knowledge and skill of a European trained chef.

After reading the reviews online, we decided to give the wacky Wahoo a try, and as described in the reviews it was a wonderful experience ! We ordered the seafood soup which was loaded with shrimp , mussels and calamari and had a great taste to it! My sister in law and I ordered the seafood special and that was marvelous, it came presented on a hot fished shaped plate loaded with a large piece of fresh grouper filet, 4 large shrimp, seared scallops all on a bed of delicious rice with fresh vegetables and plantains. My wife ordered the seafood platter and that was also wonderfully presented and tasted great ! We decided to end the meals with cappuccino's and espresso's but we were dissapointed with what they brought, it tasted like a instant mix and not authentic. They also had a large fan and air conditioner in the ceiling that blew right down on us. Other then that the food was delicious and I would highly recommend this place to everyone staying at any of the hotels. Its too bad that we discovered it on our last night there !

What a great find. Casual, close to Eagle Beach, easy to find, good parking.
Food was excellent and the value was the best on the island! We all had fresh fish, mine Amber Jack in "paper". Was prepared perfectly, moist and the veggies not over cooked. Our waitress (forgot her name, but pregnant at the time) was wonderful and very helpful. The restaurant is rather small, so make reservations. Bring you own wine.

Small restaurant, right next to a sex shop in Palm Beach. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but their fish is absolutely delicious. They have a catch of the day special which is an absolute steal. Their Aruban Fish soup is the best I had on the island.

Inside, the restaurant is comfortable and inviting.

Don't pass on the drink specials. Their bar is serious stuff. They make strong tropical drinks, and when they say a beer is "large," they mean it.

We came with the kids, who had already eaten fast food elsewhere. The restaurant was very accomodating, even though we ended up tying up a large table.

One in our party got her food somewhat later than everyone else did. The restaurant, without making a fuss about it, provided her with a bowl of the soup while she waited, and didn't charge either for her soup or her entree. A class move.

Service was friendly and excellent.

Unfortunately, we stumbled on this place toward the end of our vacation. It is worth going to twice.

We loved this restaraunt.

It is a small restaraunt, however the food is speaks for itself. The wahoo was fresh and service was excellent.

If you go on a weeknight or weekend, be sure to make a reservation as this place fills up fast!

We can't wait to return!

Small place but lovely. Everything was delicious and presented beautifully. Crab quesadilla appetizer was yummy.

Catches of the day were amberjack and wahoo. The wife had amberjack, I had the seafood skewers. The daughters had the special of the day - Wahoo and spicy shrimp over linguine in a cream and basil sauce. Everything excellent.

The aruban cashew cake was lovely and big enough to share.

We definitely put it on our list of "go to" restaurants for when we return to the island.

Ate here on the recommendation of our concierge. It was an excellent recommendation. Small place, but the food was very good and the service was excellent. Prices were reasonable as well. They have a different fresh fish special every day. I'd definitely return to this place.

Ate there last night 6/5/08 with 8 people. Service was great, food was excellent, fish was fresh and cooked perfectly. Deserts were Arubean and not the typical you'd find at most resturants. This place is a definate "go back to" if you like fish.

The best fish on the island. It was fresh caught - not frozen stuff from some unknown country. I fish and the difference is really apparent. Well prepared in a friendly casual place. The drink prices are a bargain compared to the hotels and the Passion fruit mousse was a great ending to a nice meal.
