Wacky Wahoo's
Just imagine fresh fish caught that morning from the sparkling clear waters off the Aruban coast. Add to that imported Argentine meats, hand selected by the chef. Mix delicately with the herbs, spices and traditional ingredients of the Caribbean and finally combine it all with the knowledge and skill of a European trained chef.

Wed 09/21 – Wacky Wahoo’s
We have always loved the food at Wacky’s and have never been disappointed. DW & I both had the Aruban Fish soup as a starter. For dinner, DW had the Wahoo grilled in olive oil and I had the Barracuda pan-fried Aruban style. Food, service, and drinks excellent as always. The only negative continues to be the noise level as this place is too small and always packed. Reservations are a must even in low season.

There is no doubt that the seafood here is one of the tastiest and freshest on the island. Well presented and nice portions as well. We had to call from the States to make our reservation in advance because there was no other way to do so. The place is small, crowded and a reservation is a must during prime time. It's not a place to eat, relax and hang out, so you are in and out quickly. The manager/owner's ??, attitude could have been a bit more inviting and just greets a you and walks around the restaurant without much of a smile. The waiter however was attentive and did just fine.

On our flight to Aruba we met a local business man and when asked where his favorite place to eat in Aruba he mentioned Wacky Wahoo. It is a very small restaurant on the road to Noord. It seats about 45 patrons and is very tight. You need reservations and be on time as there is always someone waiting for your table. We visited three times and the Wahoo is out of this world as is the swordfish, kingfish and Barracuda. We had the Wahoo one night and with scallops as a daily special which was served with rice and mixed vegetables on another.
they have it down to a science of getting you in and out in about an hour but you do not feel rushed. I would definitely recommend this if you like fish and cannot wait to come back. Ask the waiter for his recommendation which we did and did not regret.

Very delicious food. Just make sure you make a reservation or you will probably not get in! This place is tiny but decorated well. The salad was very nice! Not your your plain lettuce and tomato borefest. I ordered the Wahoo fillet special and it was amazing. I do not have kids but if i did would probably not like to take them there due to small space. When I was there a lady had a baby carrier and it was in the walkway and you could barely make it by. Obviously this would make it hard to navigate if you were in a wheelchair as well .

Overall though friendly and on top of it staff mixed with delicious food!

We ate here for the first time as we have been to Aruba several times. We all had different meals and everyone loved the food. The fish is so fresh Service was quick and friendly. This will be a regular dinner destination on our Aruban vacations

WACKY WAHOO is a must do for us each year and this year was no exception. We did note that they had rearranged their seating to get more customers in and that the service was a bit slower than usual because of that. We also noted that they had "fancied up" their menu and had a good laugh at that - because there was no reason to do that.
The food continued to be excellent and the ambiance is what it is - plan on rubbing shoulders with you neighbor - the food makes up for all those petty issues. GO and enjoy the food- that's what it is all about. We are hopeful, nonetheless, that the management will eventually see the wisdom of expanding the restaurant or relocating it to a larger facility - the place merits an upgrade of that nature and we are confident that they would benefit from doing so. This place remains on our "must do" list and you should consider placing it on yours as well.

I don't know about Michael, but we ate here last week and the food was spectacular! The place was jammed and we had no reservation, but the staff worked us right in. Still, reservations are probably best. We ate every scrap served and I would have licked my plate but for fear of my wife slapping me in public! It does get a bit noisy inside but this is hardly an issue when the food is so expertly prepared. Don't miss Wacky Wahoo's!

Went to Wacky Wahoo's last year and had a great meal. They have expanded with more seats packed into the same space this year and it shows. The service and food were not as good and the atmosphere has become extremely noisy. They have fallen from great to average. We won't be back.

One of our top 3 Aruba restaurants! Every dish is delish. The Caribbean Roasted Chicken is my favorite and my husbands is the Grouper. Tables are a little crowded and service is ok but the food is fresh and perfectly prepared!
