Just imagine fresh fish caught that morning from the sparkling clear waters off the Aruban coast. Add to that imported Argentine meats, hand selected by the chef. Mix delicately with the herbs, spices and traditional ingredients of the Caribbean and finally combine it all with the knowledge and skill of a European trained chef.

MON PRÉFÉRÉ !!!Our BEST SEAFOOD.We try a lot of resto on the island because we have house there and we live in Canada, but everytime that we go to Aruba we could not miss that one,les fruits de mer y sont excellents, surtout le grouper qui est le poisson de l'île tendre, doux, les assiettes sont TRÈS généreuses, les prix sont abordables, you must RESERVED if you want to try the best arubian seafood of the island.

To be upfront, I am not a fish lover, and my girlfriend is allergic to shellfish. That being said, Some of the food was very good, and some not so much so. The seafood cream soup and bean soups were both excellent, the ceviche was purported to be hot,(not sure if that meant spicy of warm, it was neither) and was not all that flavorful, the chicken alfredo was decent, excellent grilled chicken over a rather bland and very sticky alfredo, and fishy bobs shrimp casserole with aruban hot peppers...bleah...shrimp and noodles with bell peppers, flavorless. Having said that, The place was packed wall to wall and people seemed to be enjoying themselves, and the service and drinks were top-notch, though there are too many better restaurants in Aruba for me to consider going back to that remote spot.

Wacky Wahoo's is currently the No. 1 restaurant in Aruba according to TripAdvisor's 148 restaurants listed. I now know why! On the downside it was noisy and crowded and small - so make reservations and don't go here for a romantic dinner. However, the food is really fresh, I had the Wahoo fish that was caught just the day before - prepared fresh, served fresh, absolutely amazing for any fish maven - but beware, when they say spicy they mean burn your face off hot - so ask for medium or mild if you plan to get something in sauce! Do not miss the creamy seafood soup!! IF you are bringing children ask for the plain fettucine and they will saute it in oil - they also have Fettucine alfredo but ask for it with no greens because my daughter wouldn't touch it because of the greens in it. But when they came back with plain fettucine she gobbled it up. The service is great and they are very authentic and you can tell have great pride in their restaurant - kudos!!!

After 42 trips to Aruba in 26 years we
have eaten in quite a few places.
As my wife and sister call it The Wacky Wahoo is quite a place.
Starting with the most wonderful black bean soup, and then each of oue dinners was special.
I had the Arubian seafood stew, my Brother in law had the
steak and I quote it was the best he had all trip, and that includes Ruth's Cris, and El Gaucho.
My wife and sister had the Grouper it
was outstand.
Wacky may look a bit different from outside but it is the best fish place on the island.

Most excellent! Chef Harold prepared the food perfectly. The blackbean soup was tasty, Aruban soup-fish a little strong but liquid was just spicy right. We had the wahoo done Aruban style-flesh perfect, spices just right. Cornbread & plantain were excellent sides, nice rice. Quarters were tight but conversation still possible, temperature cool for close qtrs.Lighting outside to identify location was poor, We almost missed it a second time. Make reservations early

If you have never been to Wacky Wahoos, then you must go. The fish is fantastic (caught in the A.M.) Everything we have tried, does not disappoint. The staff is great. However, I suggest you make a reservation, as the restaurant is small and always busy. Don't miss this treat.

My friend and I decided to try this restaurant after reading the reviews. It's not that far where we were staying at the Marriott (5 minute ride). It's in a small strip mall, small place, about 12 tables, tight seating but the food was outstanding. We had the fish soup which was very flavorful and we both had the Chef special which consisted of Barracuda, fish cakes, shrimp and polenta. It was one of the best meals I've had on the island in a long time. The place is really nothing to look at from the outside or inside but if you're looking for GOOD food, I highly recommend this place. Please make reservations because it's small and people kept coming in and coming in so that's how you know it's good!

Wacky is our favorite seafood restaurant in Aruba. They’ve never disappointed us and tonight was no different.
DW had the Wahoo baked in the oven, DD had Grouper pan fried, and I had Wahoo pan fried. We all enjoyed our dinners. I just wish that they would move to a larger and better location as it’s very crowded and gets very noisy. Service was excellent as usual. Reservations are a must – even in slow season.

The Wacky Wahoo remains the best “dollar-for-dollar” seafood on the island. One huge recommendation to you, please make a reservation!!! The restaurant has a limit number of tables and can probably only serve about 50 customers at once. The seafood is fresh, expertly prepared, superbly presented and great service in a very small dining room that is located in a mini strip shopping center three minute drive from the high-rise hotels (parking is limited in their lot). Romantic restaurant is it not, but great seafood at a reasonable price, this is your place.
